Hello. I'm interested in this rod, could you tell me if the weight is real, as advertised by the brand? and it works well and launches lighter samples like jerk between 15/25grams. beautiful video
@TomasJanicek22 күн бұрын
Hello, the weight is definitely correct, it feels very light. Paired with 0.14 saltiga line, it casts 15g onwards very well. Definitely my favorite long range rod, sold my Saltist 3,2m 14-56g after buying this as it is so much better. It casts well, super sensitive for jigging and even smaller fish like sea bass 50cm is a lot of fun.

What is the lowest and highest best limit this rod can work well?
@TomasJanicekАй бұрын
@@shorejiggerchris3364 5-30g is pretty accurate casting wise, with thin line 5g is definitely doable, but again wind and current specific. Lately I'm using rockliver 5-40g more due to longer reach when targeting open coast.

Hi tomas, I am thinking about ordering this rod for metals around 30-40 grams range, might use also use it with heavier line PE 1.5 or 2 for slighty stronger fish like Little tunny or Bluefish and Leerfish, Is this rod comfortable enough to bounce metals around in the bottom or mid water?
@TomasJanicek4 ай бұрын
@@IdanVLRF absolutely 30-40g is absolutely perfect for it. So far the most sensitive rod, but plenty of power.I have it paired with 12 saltiga braid pe 1,5 :) couldn't be happier with it.

The power/length to weight ratio of this rod is nuts 😳 What about the tip heavyness, especially with that lighter 4K reels? Would love to see the balance in your review and if you dont mind, how much weight had to be applied at the rod end to bring the balance to the foregrip. Regarding casting, would you say 40g is the upper end? There´s a review from a Japanese who said 50g is almost perfect to throw 🎣
@TomasJanicek6 ай бұрын
Just few answers I added 40g + Fuji end to make it perfectly balanced with c5000 vanquish 220g It can cast 50g but after 35-40g you don't see any increase in distance. So the for maximum distance 35-40g is perfect but it can work 50g lures if needed. I use saltiga X12 pe 1.2 or 0.14mm I think. Hope that helps :)

@@TomasJanicek Thanks Tom, thats helps alot! If I balance this rod, I wanted to stay below 200g total weight lol With T1100G it should be sensitive enough for Zander fishing with Jigs too. Looking forward for your review :)

Great video Tomas! What is the best range of lures weight for the Aji-do 722H? Does it work better the 1-6 gr range or the 7-15 gr range?
@TomasJanicek7 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏 Very interesting question, casting wise it can cast 1-15g no problem. 1g really depends on wind etc, 15g is no issue either. I would say 5-15 cast perfectly. Retrieve wise, 15g soft plastic is ok too but for example 15g slow jig in current is bit too much due to thin tip .
@ShoreJigginginAlbania7 ай бұрын
@@TomasJanicek thank you Tomas! I mostly use 5-7-10gr minnows, 5-7gr jigs, soft baits with 3.5-7gr jighead and 12gr WTD. So i was in a dilemma between Aji-Do 722H(1-15gr) or the 832Fc(3-24gr).
@TomasJanicek7 ай бұрын
@@ShoreJigginginAlbania In that case I would go for 722h The long rod is originally meant for float fishing, at least that's my understanding. For heavier use, rockliver 3-25 I think was very interesting option too :)

@TomasJanicek7 ай бұрын
In regards to durability, I would be careful with hitting it against rocks as high carbon rods like to crack. Otherwise it is amazing rod, super light and very strong. I'm buying 5-40g 9.6foot next :) Hope that helps.

How does the rod balance with a Stradic 4000XG, and have you tried using big jerks(26-30gr) with it? Thank you!
@TomasJanicek7 ай бұрын
the 4000xg is roughly 280g so it will be bit bottom heavy. The tip on this L/M is quite light so you could use those jerks but you would be better off with 9.6 7-35 version which has better tip for those lure and also balance would be better.
