I was running the trail at lady bird lake a few months ago for track practice cause i go to Austin High and i was crossing the bridge a little ways down from the Zilker Loop and i looked down at the water and i saw a catfish that was about 5-6 feet long. But i have yet to see this "carp". And im at the lake all the time fishing.

Im going to lady bird lake in 3 weeks :P

Wow! that's hard to get my head round. In Britain we don't find rain so unusual that we film it TBH. I think that makes us luckier than you. I don't know if you have ever had to learn what those rubbery things on arms on the car windshields are for. ;-) What I CAN say is that when it rains in Britain, just walking along the street with no umbrella and wearing sandals (0:07) will get you wet - and are white van drivers so frightened of rain they reverse? lol
