Nice video! Short and informative-what's not to love? Just a couple of tips I've acquired whilst changing the foam on a handful of cameras: - Place a piece of tape/paper/cardboard/whatever in front of the shutter curtains/blades. For example, I use a cut-to-size piece of paper along with paper tape to secure it and "seal" the blades. It prevents a piece of broken foam from falling into your shutter mechanism. Trust me, you wouldn't want a piece of sticky, tar-like foam to drop in there. - If you really want to clean the grooves, you can use a small piece of isopropanol-soaked cotton and rub it in the groove using a toothpick. It really helps to get that last bit of old glue off. I, for one, use pieces of cotton ball and a clearly labeled insulin syringe filled with isopropanol, all available in my local pharmacy. - Last but not least, if you want to prevent the twisting of the foam while inserting it in the groove, you can soak the adhesive with water to delay it from sticking. Dip your finger in water in order to form a droplet at the end, and gently pass it along the sticky side of your foam string. If soaked enough, it'll prevent it from sticking right away, making the insertion a breeze. Then, when you're finished, let the camera air dry for maybe an hour before closing it for 24h. If you've used 2-3 drops of water top, you should be good.
