Great video! Love the shots. That Pentax 6x7 is too cool. Pretty sure that film is just Kodak Gold 800. The same film Kodak uses in their disposable cameras.

@@shanelson1 thanks heaps!! From what I’ve read online it seems to be! Will we ever know for sure? Who knows! That’s probably why it’s so good haha

I tried Lomo 800 in 35mm. Very expensive and was using a reflector outdoors. It came out nice. Many like it better than Portra 800.

@@thevoiceman6192 that is excellent to hear!! I’m putting together a more professional 35mm camera at the moment and then I can start testing different 35mm stocks as well and Lomo 800 is already on the list! I’m glad you had a positive shooting experience with it as well!

Yo I wouldn’t be shooting film in Australia then lol. Those prices are so astronomically higher than any other country that it doesn’t sound like a smart financial decision😅. Maybe if I was making 300k a year, I would. 3 pack of lomo 400 in 120 is about 4000 yen which I guess is about 35USD or something

@@peruperu-jj8zs you ain’t wrong!!! It is very expensive but I personally understand the costs and I have taken that into consideration in terms of the future of my photography journey! I might have to move next door to the Kodak factory to save on costs 😅

I’ve had the same issue with the adhesive strip coming apart near the end of a roll on Lomo Metropolis and it almost caused a significant jam in my Makina 67 that prevented the shutter advance from functioning

@@shepherdstall2133 dang!! I’m glad I’m not crazy though. Sounds like an issue they certainly need to fix.

Nice one Blake. I also had light leaks when using lomo film. Was using my girlfriend’s hair bands to secure the finished roll. Pain in the arse 😂

@@rayjubb8726 how strange but I’m glad I’m not alone! I found it bizarre because I had recently done the light seals in the Pentax.

Love the colors you were able to get out of the Lomo! Were these scanned by a lab or yourself?
@blakeinnesfilmphotographyКүн бұрын
@@alexwahoski I used Bayou Film for the Dev & Scan and they used a Noritsu scanner! The colours are certainly something else aren’t they! Thanks for watching Alex!
