No jasper, there is nothing wrong with you.. I believe you may have ADHD, but that’s not a bad thing. If this is the case, you have amazing ideas, (probably too many) you have great projects (probably too many) you brain hardly ever stops thinking (bit annoying) but there is nothing wrong.. just different.. Keep in mind that you have reached middle age and have survived. You are kind, you have your humour and you love your dogs. Actually I give you high marks for tidiness and cleanliness, it is putting things back on a daily basis where you fall short. Now at the risk of falling on your bad side, I need to mention your darling dogs, they are both far too fat. I say this for their own good. If I may suggest you change the dog food from category "adult" to "senior" or "elderly", or whatever euphamism they use. it is the amount of fat that is in the food that changes, and you will see your dogs loose weight.

Hey Jasper, you made me laugh out loud when you said you missed out on ‘clean up’ gene! You’re doing ok - I get the clutter thing - I clean up my garage and I swear things multiply/ breed in there when I’m not looking. Have you got someone to look after your garden at main house ? only thing wrong with you is you are human . I don't know if you know it but you are living the life that about 80% or more of us wish we could live. What I wouldn't give to wake up to some of those sunrises or even the sunsets or walk out and see the stars at night , or have just a quiet day without hearing cars , traffic and city noise.

Oh Boy! I’ve been retired for a couple of years. When I did I decided to have a clear out. I was blown away by the amount of stuff I’d collected over the years. It took me a month to get rid of things. It felt so good. I try to be a minimalist now. Your doing a good job

It’s learned habits you have to tell yourself to do it, make it a game or like me tell yourself you get to clean up not that you have too. You have so much work to do but you just need to finish the things you start before starting something else (barring emergencies). You work so hard and have a lot to do. I know you said you were not going to do anything with the new house anytime soon but you could setup the beds to them out of storage. I know you would have to take it all back out again but maybe if someone comes to visit in just a tent you could upgrade them to a room.

For others, order is a way of proving themselves civilized-where ambition doesn’t extend much beyond being comfortable. 😅is there a chromosome missing - that’s a micro aggression by the way - no, you are perfectly okay … and just making new space for the next mess to keep yourself and us entertained.

Labels are helpful, nothing fancy, nothing time consuming, but legible and just adhere with clear tape. Never trust anyone who is too neat and too far minimalist as they are boring.

Projects make messes...you live in an endless project. The state of affairs is normal...and you do always tidy up - eventually!!!

It sounds like opening up another Airbnb may be a good idea since you have so many properties now. Maybe you should put the extra mattresses in your new house since they take up a lot of valuable space. Did Henny ever finish the roof on your other shed? Cleaning crisis, spring is coming ! 😂😂😂😂You’re not the only one....I cleaned my window's glasses today ! 😂😂😂😂No rain for a few days gives motivation , and desire to get rid with all the stuff we all keep -just in case- but never use or completely forget in the bottom of a cabinet...but we have to admit that you have a lot!😂😂😂 Anyway, living in an isolated place, to keep things avoids to have to run to the city each time a screw is missing....cool pictures, of the young Jasper ...and cool walk with your cute doggies...I love your sunsets, your beautiful skies , and the beautiful trees in your forests...I love to paint trees! As my sister and I were talking one day, I had went through a lot of stuff and put back in the one shed on the property and haven’t seen it since don’t know what I packed back there. We just move things around. We don’t get rid of things just move them from here to therelike little pack rats we are.

I'm always keeping things just in case I can re-use or upcycle them. I hate throwing things away. It seems so wasteful. And by the way, Jasper, there is no such thing as normal. We are who we are, and I doubt there is a missing chromosome! 😉
