Read this book on holiday (as you do ), thought it would be interesting. Wow, i was addicted. Brilliant book, it will never be a best seller because of the subject matter(horseracing), but it was one of the best books i have ever read.

i have the Hair of a minitar. I had other parts skull with the heart still intact. i had one of its legs, it was broken. The remains were found alongside the bones of its partner, a horse skull, no heart in that one. All the teeth were loose, this Crane horse must have had a very laborus life. I, being homeless, being held at a constant disadvantage, have been shown things of unknown truth however, unable to retain the evidence. I KEPT THE HAIR.

I just re-read "Nightwatch" for the umpteenth time and was looking for people singing "All the little angels" and this showed up. I was already a bit on the squishy side, emotionally. Sir Terry's voice firmly pushed me over the edge. Damn what a loss to the world his passing was.

After seeing your Ted talk I bought lemonade and raisins preparing for an exciting demonstration with my son. Too bad you don’t know what lemonade is in the US. It didn’t turn out to be so great anyway. Boo!

I have imagined Rincewind looks like Guthrie Govan since the very first time I saw Guthrie doing a guitar clinic on YT. He even has the perfect vocal inflections and mannerisms I always imagined Rincewind would have.

Specifically, there's at least 41 Sir Terry Pratchett books for everyone. The rest are for most people, with the exception of the science of discworld and the folklore of discworld, which are for people who already finished the afore mentioned 41 books.

@@metatron76 Ah yes, him and Cohen. Lady L- errr excuse me, The Lady definitely smiles upon them. Of course, her master play (and greatest mistake) was Vimes. The Gods realized they goofed too late when he ascended to God of Policemen after his death. Suddenly cheating wasn't so easy and the game changed.

Why is this town called Mother's Rest? That's all reacher wants to know. But no one will tell him. Its a tiny place hidden in a thousand square miles of wheat files, with a railroad stop, and sullen and watchful people, we will give this book a 10 plus, it is spellbounding & good, just read it!

Ms. Steele is conveying that that this book is a book of contrast, while Alexa's trial builds to a climax in New York, her daughter settles into southern life, discovering a father and family history, she barley knows. Apparently, they sugar coated this book a bit, it reminds me of Kathy, one of the Moroccan sheik's wives, that got jealous and killed another wife out of spite. The trail was lengthy but finally they released Kathy due to irreconcilable differences.
