For me number 7 was the most eye-opening of an already eye-opening book. That capacity for having a narrative so firmly imprinted in the mind that it can just trip straight off the tongue. But there's so much else I didn't realise and it's deepened my appreciation of a body of work I already loved. I'm very happy to have this biography sitting on the shelf at the end of my Discworld collection.
