Hello Toqa, thank you for this very good lesson. I have noticed that many verbs begin with "است". Do you know if it is a prefix and if it has a meaning? Thank you very much.

I'm glad you like it. As for است It just makes the verb longer. It has no meaning.

Thank you. Sometimes it is hard to hear the English pronunciation of the words. Is it possible for you to show the English word or short phrases that you say for Arabic ones?

It's Modern Standard Arabic. It's not spoken in all Arabic countries. But it's the language of education, laws, books, and politics in all Arabic countries. And it's the origin of all Arabic dialects. 90% of each Arabic dialect comes from Standard Arabic.

I love this video! These are the three forms of Arabic that I have learned, and it is fun to hear the differences in words/pronunciation all together like this! It has been quite a long time since I left the Middle East, so it is fun to revisit all of these words that I was so familiar with! Thank you for your videos, as I LOVE Arabic and the Arab people so much!! 🙏💖🤗💕💫

That is a very good approach to let the learning recognize the nuances between Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) , Levantine Arabic and Egyptian Arabic. Thank you for the video and keep it up !! and please make a whole series on it.
