Isn't the basic karabiner able to be rechambered to 7.62x51? it also has a tactical kit, but I am unsure if it changes anything relevant. might not have the +5 penetration it's scoped cousin has, but the better munition compensates for it. (mostly wanting to use the weapon for aesthetics, but I am unsure if the kit makes it better or more usable than the mauser which is chambered at7.92x57)

I know this video is almost a year old at this point but the AN-94 does have variable scopes you can use now like the 1PN93-4 Night Sight (1x-3.7x) or the 1P59 Giperon (3x-10x)

I am using the the ak-74m venom with the 4x scope with canted red dot kit. Scope isn't great but is usable in most situations, biggest issue is when environment color matches too closely with the mil dots.

I replaced the saiga nerd with ks-23 and did not regret it. Sure it can't get a scope attached and has only 4 slots but it basically does double the damage. Very powerful gun and sends monolithians flying.

I think it funny he puts so much value on rate of fire. Then misses most of the shots he takes. I am sorry but I honestly think lower rate of fire is better than faster. Easier to use the recoil of the gun to get a head shot in tap fire. Some guns I gotten down so perfect off body body head. That will kill even exoskeletons.

Be honest I prefer my rifles with a slower rate of fire. Makes it easier for me to get a head shot when I burst fire. I only full auto against mutants. Almost never used the grenade launcher but that might be useful against some mutant types. If I could hit stuff with it. I can't hit the Great Wall of China with them.

I have no problem getting a Karabiner 98k scope but I normally start as merc. Which will sell the scope. Often times on day 1. Though just a bit out of your starting money price range. I do want to ask. Why are you firing sniper rifles so close quarters? Bolt action is fine with long range. The enemy often times has a hard time finding you 100+m out. Yes I know the stalker maps are not super big beside a hand full of maps. Very good video BTW. Sorry this comment and many months late.
