That scope effect is kinda weird. When you are zooming, your whole screen zooms and it feels like you are flying with your gun towards the enemy

Try Project Inverno with grass off if you can stand the winter retexture

@@nullmoxy I tried grass off and some textures removed by a mod. Performance is good, but it's not as enjoyable when the grass is gone and the textures are just plain. Immersion is gone at that point

Bro, little question! im playing anomaly and i have it modded, but i feel like spend more time modding the game than playing it hah, should i just delete everything and just play Gamma? looks insane if not a little bit too hardcore

gamma is a only a bit more difficult compared to anomaly, but eases restrictions that base anomaly has due to anomaly lacking necessary QoL mods. my problem with anomaly: it's supposed to be an open world type of stalker mod, and yet it fails at exactly being an open world mod since it's so restrictive. gamma fixes all of that whilst not make it look like cheating in any way. if you'd like an absolutely hardcore stalker mod that can literally ruin your entire run and force you to start all over again without needing to play ironman mode, try vanilla dead air.

I'm not really a fan of the PIP scope effect in a lot of games.. It seems to add a trail effect which I find jarring as hell. Or maybe it's a refresh rate thing...

Installing these mods at the bottom of your load order should be fine. If you use gamma and are getting crashes with new weapons, delete the script folder and contents in the new weapon mod.

How is the pip scope mod pip? It still zooms the entire picture around it but now it only applies a different effect to the smaller scopes? Aka, if the rest of the screen still zooms in to the same amount as the actual scope then why are you suprised that it doesnt cost any extra framerate since its not actually rendering at a different image inside the scope. Imo that mod should just be an alternative look to the allready non pip scopes in the game.

Ehhh. Those gun probably not gonna be Fun to play in actual Combat in Stalker. Honestly it's getting annoying that more mod maker's while making a Gun Addons, Forget about gameplay and make to Long animations, especially for reloading. They thinking Is it look good, that it. But forgeting that Stalker IS NOT REALISTIC MILITARY SHOOTER, and guns needs to be balanced for fun Gunfire and not Just looking good
