When I go steamLibrary>steamApps>workshop>content the folder is completely empty. I know that my mods are downloading and working because I have played with them and they still work, i was just looking to change the permissions on some out of date mods. I have no idea where they could be downloading to. Btw I am not running ATS and im sure that doesnt matter but just in case. Btw sorry for commenting so late, great vid.

If ETS2 or ATS try searching for "manifest.sii" at the root of all your drives.

hi i got a problem with my google map navigation sound mod i tried and failed, the sounds didnt load there are a unzipped universal folder in it

Watched this to see if I was doing this wrong, I wasn't, I still have a truck with no sound and no solution, this process is absolutely annoying. At this point, I'm genuinely convinced that sounds do not work in this game period end of story.

My soundpack does not sound this good, are there tweaks to the in game settings you use to get the most out of the pack?

I am tend to turn up engine and turbo noises, Turn down window wind noise and traffic. Other than that I do not think I did anything special on this video. I have not fired up the simulator in a few updates, so unsure if anything has changed since then.

My jakes sounds poor quality. They cut out and it sounds like they are skipping. Very annoying and don’t know how to fix it

As a retired truck driver, I've never seen people use their four-way flashers as much as I do watching these videos! No. Truckers do not use them everywhere they go. In fact,in some states it's actually a felony for a driver to use their four-way flashers if not in an emergency situation! Just a little FYI for y'all 👍

@@Wikcentral I mean the ZeeMod DD60 14L. I've donloaded it and installed it, then I enabled in the Mod Manager. But when I pick the truck that should use the new sounds (Kenworth W900) I still have the default sounds. Why is that? What am I doing wrong?

@@Wikcentral Hm... That's a bit surprising for me. Do I get it right that the only way to hear the new sounds is to buy a specific engine for your truck in the game? I thought I would get the new sounds for all the supported trucks automatically when picking them via Quick Job mode. I was mistaken and it doesn't work this way, right?

What exactly are you trying to do, add engine sounds to the flx359? Because you don't do anything in the 359 mod it's all in the engine sound mods. You just need to know the define name of the truck you're trying to add to the sound mod you're trying to use

Video is over a year old. Links for old mods probably will not be maintained, but with a quick google search looks like Robinicus removed his mods from steam. I think Zeemods moved to just zeemods.com, I beleive the others still work as is. I edited the video information for you in the description. In my opinion, go with Zeemods pay mod or Kriechbaum sound pack. The others all suffer that sped up tape player sound coming from idle.

Dude how do you do mutiple trucks to the sound mod when i add another truck to the file the first trucks loses those engines

For which sound mod? I actually have only been using zeemods sounds lately but next time I fire up the sim I will update the KB mod and see if I have the same issue. I never had that issue before. Are you naming the folder and also changing the name of the truck in each of the .sii as well?

Do you have video on your graphic settings and are you running any graphic mods?

I do not use any graphic mods. I run an 8700k at 5.2ghz and a 3080Ti FTw3 Ultra at 3840x2160 and 119hz. I just max everything else pretty much unless I start to stutter from lighting on some modded trucks, which I then will lower the scaling and mirror resolution until the stuttering stops. I run a 48" Aorus monitor, the reason for running in 4k.

@@Wikcentral gotcha I just bought a PC with rtx 3060, going to by a 1440p monitor next. I might have to upgrade my gpu to get to a 4k resolution. Great channel all the way around though!!

@@Jscruggs5 4k has been a challenge that is for sure. I imagine I could do with a newer CPU. Maybe after Christmas I will look into it. The 8700k has been a great cpu and I just recently delid/liquid metal modded it with great results and bumped it up 200mhz while lowering it's temps.

Excellent truck. Both that and RTA faithfully describe the atmosphere of the classic truck, which is important in this simulator. Too bad many people do not appreciate this type of truck, in favor of the fast and furious and GTA V ones.
