EL Zone in SmallHD monitors completely changed my workflow. It's the best thing EVER. I can't remember the last time I needed a light meter.

Great improvements here. Especially looking forward to Camera Control for the FX6. What I'm missing however is an (easy and affordable) option for monitor Calibration.... natively without Calman... I have an Indie 7 and two Cine 7 Monitors, and they look VERY inconsistent to each other.

It would be helpful if you would support cameras like Nikon or find a way to make EL Zone available for any camera. Right now this is completely crippled for many cameras.

He patented this method and gatekeeping it. That is why nobody implements it, not because companies are unaware or lazy. Same thing like with RED and internal raw recording - it is a shame that it is possible to patent just concepts like this, and not technical know-how.

PageOS 6 is coming Fall 2024. Announcements will be sent on our various social media channels and via email. Can you please clarify what you mean by USB camera controls? We currently have camera control for ARRI, RED, and Sony VENICE/VENICE 2 cameras with FX6 and BURANO coming soon.

@@skymakaii am just curious. Atomos line is more affordable and are meant to be in line with prosumer. Small HD is not cater to that anymore. Hence the camera that they offer are the top of the line cinema camera. I feel like if you look at their products is different league. Not to say they shouldn’t make something like atomos Shinobi 2. Just different market. Like Sony ref or Flanders. Their products are not for average consumer’s.

After profiling this display, it appears that this monitor doesn’t cover 100% Rec709, nor 100% DCI P3. SmallHD technical team told me they know the limitations of this panel (especially on the Blue area). However, we can see that they didn’t wonder putting the « 100% DCI P3 coverage » label on this monitor, even though it is false and misleading advertising. Currently discussing with the SmallHD support team about this concerning observation.

I have one of these monitors and love it. What I need is to power it using my camera's V-Mount batter. Can you please give me the part numbers for the dummy batter and the correct cable. One last question: the monitor appears to have a USB-C port on the back. What is this for?? Thank you.

Hallo my small HD cine 7 have a wirde problem all few minutes all overlays go for a moment that is enjoying while filming I sended in it came it back they sayed no promblem found but the same problem was still there one day later the HDMI died (Kamera an Monitor was powered from the same mount) I send it in agin now the want me to pay lil bit more than 1000 euro did it happened to one of u too I don’t know how a so expensive monitor have this problems and they make me pay for it

Can anyone help - I've followed all the steps to update the firmware on my RED DSMC3 Touch Monitor, but every time I turn it on it says 'Update required' it's not reading the firmware bin file on the card. I would love to see a video (I know it may seem simple, but I'm stuck) The monitor is brand new.

I still use the 502 with Sidefinder to this day. I am so scared it will break as I can't buy a new one anymore. Do you have any old ones in stock? I've tried so many EVF and nothing matches this setup.

at this old camera would it be possible when you connect a monitor to use the screen to see the meny and change settings on the go while still seeing through the lens on the external screen at the same time? or is this a mood not possible on this older camera? thanks for showing us your kit set up
