Hi Rob whereabouts are you pal, I have a Titan and it’s trying to start but won’t, I dropped it since then it won’t start, it’s like no fuel is getting in as spark plug ignites makes the sound but not running , and help pls. Where would you turn up the fuel intake? I am in Sheffield, Thank you Hussain

I have the same problem.Every season need change carb.Realy stupid model from makita with 25.7ccm engine.

Got a titan strummer still running like a dog. Friend looked at it. Maybe old fuel? If I run it hard, will it kick out the dirt and new premium fuel (with a dash of two stroke), will run better? And stop losing power?

Mine only runs on choke.turn choke off in cuts out. Try rev it it cuts out. Will only idle on choke

Rob I have a spear and Jackson spjgt26 . I've put a new carburettor on it and cleaned out file tank new pipes and filter and air filter fresh 40/1 mixed petrol. It starts up fine but as soon as you go over half throttle it boggs down like it going to stop running. I have the Acircle tool to adjust the mixture and throttle but I am not sure how many turns out to turn the mixture screw from fully screwed in. If you or anyone can help it would be fantastic been looking for three days spear and Jackson website is as good as a chocolate teapot.

Got exactly this problem but am a pillock re mechanics. Could you move to south wales and fix mine instead : )

The green B&Q strimmers are the same - they are shipped with an over lean carb setting. 1/4 turn richer usually fixes the issue. You need the Pac man carb tool...
