Great to see 2 aircraft working with larger tandem axle loader in support It must be a large property / job (larger quantities ie lime to be applied)

Notice after takeoff he kept the nose of aircraft down generating more airspeed which enabled nice climb out. Also a fast landing ( maybe tailwind) because of slope and without the need to reverse prop much nice energy / momentum. These guys because they're continuously taking off / landing turn this into an artform. Full hand flying with no automation/computers at its best.

"“I never did anything in space that was more difficult than a night carrier landing.” Alan Bean, Apollo 12, Skylab 3. I wonder how Alan Bean would have managed this sort of flying? Probably with no trouble at all - anyone who can routinely land on an aircraft carrier in all weather and visibility conditions can handle anything.

Yep, you are not far from the truth, well back in the 60-70’s anyway. My father new a few of the top dressing pilots around Hawks Bay back then and they were characters.
