Bee hives need 12 flowers within 1 square of them. You can place a wall and put 4 small plots on it and place 2 hives on each side of the wall really close together.

With Version 1.0 and particularly the advent of the Juicer, my comments on recipes here (and the full video about them that I had planned and have a full script for xD) are now moot. Shark Dinner especially got nerfed - for the same ingredients, it only provides 1 meal instead of 3! Would have to double check, but I believe that would mean that it still provides more food than cooking the shark meat (when including the bonus) but the cave mushrooms and silver algae may also become more valuable in Version 1.0’s endgame: There are recipes available from Trading Posts that provides additional buffs, like faster swim speed from Salmon Salad (not sure what changes with ingredients). Edit: The bucket is currently consumed with the milk for Head Broth. When this happened before, the devs mentioned that wasn’t supposed to be, so this is likely a bug, and it was previously fixed. Even if it isn’t, buckets are cheap and empty ones stack, so it’s not a big deal.
