so I can't get past the first round... when am I supposed to click? it pings, I click then nothing happens and it deactivates....

Not sure to be honest. The device will start showing you a sequence every round, and you can actually start clicking as soon as the sequence begins (but I usually wait to watch the full sequence, type it out, and then click on the buttons). I guess I would make sure that nothing is blocking the button, like a Gan’arg Analyzer body, or that no addons prevent you from interacting with the buttons at all.

Same here. Have tried all kinds of time intervals, as well as random activations- nothing. Not even the punishment lightning. It just dings twice (even with no input at all) over a few seconds before powering down.

Could be something to do with Retail vs TBC classic, too- not to mention the daily quest vs the starter quest. I’m on Starter quest on Retail (well, I was - hit Exalted this morning, so no longer an issue for me personally). I went to submit a big report, and saw that it’s a known issue for repair in 9.2, for anyone else stuck on this particular problem.

There is indeed, called OgriLazy. Instead of typing the sequence in chat, the add on provides some colors to click on, which then relay back to you. However, this add on will not automatically acquire the colors or click the clusters for you, meaning it only provides convenience. And, as far as I know, the add on does not warn you about the relic decharger, which is the new mechanic that stumped me and is why I made this video. Other commenters confirmed that they had the same problem.
