Being born again is in your heart accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior and committing in your heart to keep his commandments. There is then a spiritual change that takes place and the heart is ready to accept the Holy Ghost who becomes your companion. The commitment takes place in your heart and spiritually you are born again.

Thank you for this most wonderful discussion because Pres. Nelson invites us to read and study Section 109, that within this dedicatory prayer we learn that this prayer is more than a description of what a temple is. I love the BYU religious discussions, so thankful for learning.

To be one of God’s “chosen” people is available to any who desires to choose to follow Jesus Christ. And to remain chosen into eternity is to endure to the end of mortality on that covenant path. Excellent presentation of the Structure of the Book of Mormon. Great selection of scholars, well versed in the study of the Book of Mormon. It was good to see Brother Todd Parker again as I had him as an instructor at the University of Arizona around 1994-5. I was not a young student but a "late bloomer" trying to earn my degree and I did in 1995. Thanks for all your hard work and consistent dedication to the Lord and teaching His children.
