Really enjoyed this interview. Interesting and insightful questions that aren’t normally asked which allowed them to be more relaxed and personal. Fun to see the interviewer as a fan getting psyched, but not being weird or annoying around them.

I'm not a fan of their music, yet I'm binge watching the interviews and analysing them. After focusing on Sam, Jake caught my attention. He seems pretty quiet yet with so much going on inside of him...

I like it when the interviewer is a legit fan of the band. They're more respectful and are really interested in the answers.

"...I'm not either. I know you think I am I'm really sneaky.I found a glitch in the system." I couldn't agree more. The systems has plenty of glitches. Plus she's a sneaky little giggly girl and looks like one.

Here’s my opinion, I don’t think writing songs about politics is going to change anything, outward change can only change from within us. Our Ego is the cause of all suffering. The cause of suffering isn’t money, it is not politics, it is not governments, it is not religions or economics; the cause of suffering is the Ego, which is in us. If you want to change the politics of your community, change yourself, not your politicians. You can’t change anyone else. You can try your whole life, and you will never do it. The only one can change is yourself, so start there. Mr. Mcilrath I suggest you write songs about that inward change, songs that will encourage and bring about that positive change, change that is healing, the answers we seek are within us and is not dependent on the the world outside of us, write songs that encourage positive, empowering, change from the inside out. The song “Far From Perfect” for example, is a great song that does just that

The guys' grounded nature and early approach to the music biz will hopefully insulate them from all the other nonsense. I saw them on the floor at Kerfuffle, looked back, and they had everybody out of their seats singing along. I've seen many of the great bands of the past 40 years live, and I hope GVF keeps growing and sharing their gift to perform. So much energy!

what if they mixed hair metal with their sound
@evanpeltier5 жыл бұрын
I don't think that would be a good idea. Lol. However, I think Psychedelic music is a great route for them to go in, like Pink Floyd, or the Beach Boys Pet Sounds album. Age of Man has that Pink Floyd "Shine on you crazy Diamond" sound in the beginning.
