I am enthralled by them. Their music is amazing and they are so magical. I'm transported back to the day when I was a young girl when I hear their music and see their photos and interviews. Extremely mature for being so young. Love the fact they don’t constantly chain smoke drinking Buds and cursing. Real nice down to earth guys that you really root for and want to see them succeed. Great sense of humor too. By the way - incredible short set at Merriweather.

The guys' grounded nature and early approach to the music biz will hopefully insulate them from all the other nonsense. I saw them on the floor at Kerfuffle, looked back, and they had everybody out of their seats singing along. I've seen many of the great bands of the past 40 years live, and I hope GVF keeps growing and sharing their gift to perform. So much energy!

I saw them last fall and the audience was amazing-from a little girl to grey haired people like me to every age in between and everyone was dancing and loving every moment. A couple of young guys sitting next to me and one had never heard GVF before. After the show he was a fan. They're just what we need!

In my opinion, Sammy is the best band member when it comes to interviews. He's a year younger than me, but he's very kind and smart and passionate about making music. Plus, he is a very talented multi-instrumental musician. In his other interviews, he doesn't make stupid jokes or mess around like Josh and Jake does. He gets right to the point, and you can tell he is an emotional person that is in pursuit of achieving something. He has the integrity of Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, and Syd Barrett. I hope he doesn't lose himself to fame. Love the band, rock on guys! Peace and Love ✌☮❤

Winter Cherry I think he’s always been laid back and such in interviews. But recently , in this one and the one from Brazil, he seems kinda jaded? Hard to explain. But when they got asked if they like their jobs there was a pause coming from Jake and he looked down before answering. He just seems less spirited and I can kinda sense that he is holding back his emotions and personality a bit. Again, this is just my opinion. Could just be he’s tired from the constant life on the road.

Jess Dayz Thanks, this is true, I agree completely - he looks very exhausted and thinner, it became noticeable at the beginning of the tour of South America after their break. At first I thought you were talking about something else.

Really enjoyed this interview. Interesting and insightful questions that aren’t normally asked which allowed them to be more relaxed and personal. Fun to see the interviewer as a fan getting psyched, but not being weird or annoying around them.

I don't think that would be a good idea. Lol. However, I think Psychedelic music is a great route for them to go in, like Pink Floyd, or the Beach Boys Pet Sounds album. Age of Man has that Pink Floyd "Shine on you crazy Diamond" sound in the beginning.
