Buenas noches. Tengo una wagoneer igual a la tuya..una pregunta. Esta wgoneer del 68 lleva numero de chasis en el chasis. Y donde se ecuentra o solo tiene la plaqueta de identificativa gracias de antemano..

The hose that leads under the manifold on my sl320 looks to be wet like it has a leak , will that be where I would have a vacuum leak ?

You mentioned a future 4x4 swap would the oil pan need to be turned back around first that?

@@wotracer49 was the intake issue resolved? Did opening the intake manifold up and resealing it cause any leaks?

@jkhan856 yes, if you take your time and do it right, it will fix the leak. No more manifold leaks 👍🏼

Hasn’t ran for at least five years, it’s missing radiator and I’m having trouble figuring out what originally came in it and if I can get one, also missing key I’ve been looking and it looks like dodge dart was same engine and Brave was built on a Dodge RM-300 chassis
@wotracer49
@wotracer49 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, a lot of my 1972 Brave was just a Dodge dually chassis, Brakes/suspension and stuff. The Radiator I'm not sure about.

Just the video I was looking for . My vacuum line broke just like yours long before I took apart my intake manifold I can just tell by the look of it , what were your symptoms with the broken hose ? I never noticed anything but I’m sure I will when it goes back together fixed & clean , I scrubbed everything clean with diesel fuel & then soda blasted it down to bare aluminum again so I can get better sealant adhesion. I will have a video on my channel soon when I’m done !

It was a lean code with a small hissing noise from under the intake. It did run much better when it was all done

I used an air compressor pinch hose fitting with an 1/8” pinch. Then added a hose connection , put a 1/8” rubber washer. This pinches onto the vacuum tube in the intake, making it air tight, sell the washer seals at the exit hole by way of the pressure of the mounting screws and gives the ability to replace the hose in the future without removing the intake. I would add a picture but not sure how.

Loved the video. What a great job on the RV. I love that you mentioned some of the mechanical things you did. I’m updating a 1995 Class A and it is really nice to know some of this things I could do on mine. Like the lock up switch for the rear diff. Any time you want to cover more things, like mechanicals for the RV house, I’m all ears. Great job!

No, oil should not be in the intake manifold. But an oil leak can ruin this vacuum hose.

solar tip You can steplessly dim down a bulge and all other hungry electricity consumers with a 5000W dimmer (7, EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos on my channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3SVoJ-YeKebnpI The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because no extreme current peaks arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices...
