We have a working 4 speed with overdrive and torque converter lock up! But the most obvious difference is the New Paint Job, check it out! Thank you Chase for helping with the vinyl stencil that made this paint job complete.

Fantastic. The John Deer green looks championship caliber. What a super motorhome! God bless and good luck out on the road to you and your family. As I said in another one of your vids I think a minute ago it was, or so, hahahaha, I go look at one in a few hours and fired up like 2 locomotives going downhill. Later, great fam.

this is awesome. Found this by chance. I have been looking at all the 454 winnebagos sinking in peoples yards. this build is really interesting. That big engine down low must help in windshear as well. Awesome build.

Been following this for a a while now. I actually found the 1972 Wiinebago Indian D24 that my family bought new, found it on the side of the house of the guy who bought it from us in 2001. Run down but seems to be all there. Looking to make a deal with him. I do want to restore it but more of a retro-mod and I was thinking of the 12V Cummins as well. The Winnie has the 413 V8 in it now but I am sure it has not turned over in 10 years so instead of rebuilding I want to upgrade....may reach out to you at some point to see if I can get your cliff notes :-) You rig is looking very nice and the job on the power train is awesome

Episode #5 is where you mention that you rebuilt your windows replaced the C channel and seal but I haven’t found any video showing how you did it or even where you found the parts from b/c Winnebago doesn’t support all the seals anymore. If you remember anything please share parts or places that you bought from. Thanks the Winnebago looks great

Before replacing anything, make sure all of your wires are good. Ground points are clean and solid. With all those things taking care of there is really only one last issue. The alternator needs to be replaced
@wotracer495 жыл бұрын
And that would be if you have an internal voltage regulator. If it's external check that first

How hard was the diesel conversion? Did you have to change the fuel tanks?
@wotracer495 жыл бұрын
I did not replace the fuel tank, both engines had a mechanical fuel pump on the side of the engine. It is easier then putting the 6bt in anything else

Is there a particular reason you went with the transmission you did?
@wotracer495 жыл бұрын
@@williamgroover8546 I am running the 46rh...its the transmission that can with the donor Ram. And I picked the 1994 because it is the first year for the P pump for the fuel delivery and the last year for the mostly hydraulic transmission (I had three speeds without hooking any electrical up)
