Hello! It is true that fishing from the shore is not easy on all islands, you need deep water around you and many of the islands' beaches are too shallow. I have also been to Maafushi and Fulidhoo and there the water is not deep enough. There is a deeper channel between the islands in Mathiver, but I only saw one shark and a lot of small fish there. I prefer the southern Ari Atoll, islands like Mahibadhoo and Omadhoo. ( also Mandhoo) There you can walk to the reef (remember to wear protective shoes!) and throw a lure into the deep water. From Mahibadhoo you can get GT and Tunas from beach. I caught rainbow runner. I also fished Dhangethi from beach but didn't catch anything. On these islands you can use Ferry by island hopping, it´s easy and very cheap. @@benjaminblanco4531 Hard to say, we had a package for the whole group which included everything, transportation, accommodation, all food and others... There were also non-fishers in our group . But I was there before alone, I paid 150$/ half day fishing, by speed boat. You can ask the price directly from Olive Goidhoo, the service is perfect and they will do everything to make your visit successful.

We only stayed 7 nights. If you rent a car, two weeks could be a good time. The island is 100 km long, so there is plenty to explore. 😀

Thanks for watching! 😁 I stay in Three Hearts Guesthouse and it was an excellent choice! A small sandbank next to Bikini beach where you can wade during low tide. There is a current but not dangerous if you know how to swim. Three Hearts can also arrange an overnight stay on a deserted island in a tent if you want to try something different. You can book regular sandbank trips from your guesthouse.

Thank you for watching!🤗 Transfer was $ 55, from Male about 90min by speedboat. It's not difficult but ask the questhouse for a schedule before you booking any flights! The island is good for honeymoon, the beach is amazing and big enough for you to find your own peace! And you can book a romantic dinner on the beach at sunset. Also if you want an experience you will remember for the rest of your life, you can book an overnight stay experience in a sand bank island, just the two of you!🙂

Itäpuolen kalliot oli sen näköisiä että sieltä vois saada heittämällä vaikka mitä kalaa. Yhden kaverin löysin joka oli saanut komeita kaloja rannalta,doradoa jne. En muista nimeä...

@@jarppat.7502 Wir hatten uns vor ca 15 Jahren in die Insel verliebt, nicht jeder mag sie, weil das Grün und Blühende fehlt. Wenn's im Januar/Februar mal regnet, ist alles ruckzuck grün und sehr schön. Aber wir persönlich lieben auch den bizarren Unterschied und vor allem den Strand von Cofete. Man denkt das man träumt. Ein Ort zum völligen Abschalten😍. Man muss Fuerte kennenlernen...entweder man liebt diese Insel oder nicht 😊💖🌞🌊🌊🌊🌴. In den Herbstferien ist es nicht ganz so heiß und das Meer ein bissl wärmer 👍. Alles Gute und ein schönes Wochenende 🙋🏼‍♀️🤝🙏

Im Norden weht der Wind viel mehr. Nicht so sehr in Jandia und die Luft war wärmer. Wir sind genau Ende Februar gereist.

Hi Richard! The best Maldives fishing season is to be from November to March. I normally traveled in February to April. The rainy season begins in May so the best time is over. Once I was in October, the weather was wetter and windier and it can make fishing difficult if you have a small boat.
