the most important to me was XXX. it tells you Kendrick’s moral standpoint and how much he values friends and family.

I just fell in love with songs like this. song that sound good on their own but are really deep if you look more into it. for example this song and pearls by Sade. how do i find more songs like this?

The title: Gloria is a Guilloche pen model from Laban, a Taiwanese pen-maker known for its quality. Depending on the pen type, these can go for around $250 and are only sold in red and blue (most definitely a reference to Bloods and Crips). I absolutely love these Easter eggs since they are a testament to Kendrick's dedication to his work.

damn bro thats sick.. i never would've connected it to bloods and crips

A perfect world would be a nightmare reality. The word ‘perfect’ itself is a false notion. It implies some sort of limit to infinite potential. Once a state of hypothetical perfection is reached, only stagnation can remain. The only premise worse than striving for perfection (stagnation itself) is to believe one is already there. On a literal level, that’s a horrible place to end up mentally, although I do respect and appreciate the notion “perfectly imperfect” in a metaphorical sense. I’m not opposing self acceptance and self love in that manner, nor am I opposing the acceptance and love of God. One’s capacity for growth and expansion should always be seen as infinite/without limit, as to avoid stagnation in life.

This is the reason why he is one of the greatest. He always puts so much though into all of his lyrics and he always thinks of deeper meaning.

7:31 he was an undercover cop, presumabely wearing a wire to record their conversation. "thought he was wired up (on duty and technically recording with intent to jail keisha for prostitution) like a pair of jumping cables, his eyes was closed shut prior charges he had waived em" (he chose to close his eyes to the fact that keisha was doing illegal activities because keisha let him tap, waiving all her priors presumabely for the same thing)
