I love Troy.. the reason I went brakeless, back in 2000. Ive messaged him a few times on Insta, always sends a quick response . I was luck enough to be touring in the US around 97/98. Driving through downtown Denver I saw a group of riders sessioning a wall ride by a huge church. He was definitely one of them or I like to think it was. .... Is this spot still there ? Big up Troy !!!

I love the part when Kyle is talking about how he wanted to be the first to get a 7 sec pass with the mr2 because nobody has done it before. I always say people tend to remember the person who busted down the door vs those who walked in after

Long time Anton fan, used to read his blog going way back. I stepped in a gopher hole that was covered in leaves about six years ago and rolled my ankle, got an Osteo Chondral Defect of the Talus which ended running for me. My interests evolved into mountain biking and I stopped following Anton's career. For a couple years leading up to that, he started having the shin problem, and I was gutted for him. He had to get on the bike, couldn't get long training blocks in on his feet, and couldn't do the races he was dreaming of. That was where I left off on his journey. He popped into my head yesterday so I looked up some interviews. This one was really good. He and I are the same age, share a love of the written word, and both thrive going long. It was a delight to catch up on his life. I'm so happy he's figured out a balance that allows him to run consistently again. Pumped to see the relationship he's built with Hailey as well, I know what a joy it can be to have a girlfriend who's into moving her body long distances through the outdoors just as much as you are. Thank you for the interview!
