So the support of the device is going away, but it still works? Or is it completely going away? I've purchased one of those Polycom Obihai devices and want to hook it up but sounds like it's not possible now?
@JonMorganMadness17 сағат бұрын
My understanding is that it might still work, but they won't guarantee it since it's not supported. I installed the Cell2Jack and haven't tried going back.

Best of luck. My husband cut our cable and it eventually will not be aligned and fall completely off thr tracks. You will be mortified with your van full of kids praying you will make it to the Walmart where you buy rachet straps and drive around with your door racheted shut telling the kids to climb in and out of the trunk.

Is it still working for you?
@JonMorganMadness12 күн бұрын
Yes, it is, but one thing I realized after making the video is that you have to use the cell phone or tablet that is connected to the Cell2Jack to make outgoing calls. Once you make the call, you can use the house phone to talk on.

Thank you so much! Ours has been finicky for years. It usually required multiple attempts to start and eventually it would work. This past week though it didn't matter how many times I tried - it never worked. I found your video this morning and your workaround WORKED PERFECTLY!!!! Thanks so much!!!!

It was the same problem in my case, but solution was different, and my solution probably will help someone - after increasing water in my heater- water becomes too hot for the machine that’s why it’s turning off so we just reconnect the machine to cold water line and everything works well

I totally did this to my old Stromberg Carlson Rotary phone using Google Voice and Cell2Jack but I was using the same thing as what you're doing, but it never worked out (it defaults back to my regular cell phone number). I am hoping to do the experiment again but this time with a bluetooth dongle for my computer so that I can have a free home phone service, as a backup to my cell phone number in case if the cell phone outage occurs again like what happen a year and a half ago or two years ago. Now I ordered another rotary phone (a desktop one), and I am gonna try the experiment again. Yes, Cell2Jack supports pulse dialing, like they used to in the POTS line.

thanks, i had to scour many videos to be sure that outer silver ring slipped off so i can get to the nut. i realy tore up the finish, it was stuck on, so i painted it silver, will be lookign for a replacement, but its alot cheaper than a new faucet. worst case ill paint it black if it still looks bad. there must be a clever way to get that ring off, on mine it was rounded/curved, so couldnt get a good bite on the big meat of it, had to get a bite on the small 1/32 inch lip, which that thing is plastic inside, with chrome plate finish, china? probably so. Moen yes... stil think that part is from china... So be careful and get clever (use some vinegar maybe) to get that outer ring off.

I'm glad the video helped. That stinks it was so hard to get the ring off!

Do we have to know swimming for this adventure? Is the cliff jumping simple?
@JonMorganMadnessАй бұрын
You wear life jackets the whole time, so knowing how to swim is not required. The cliff jumping is not high, just what you see at 26:40 in the video.
