I can’t see or understand what u t saying’s It sounds like u r saying click the new fob twice. I tried 1 click on old then1 click on new. Ended up new one worked but neither of the two old ones did. Which they did before I started. Could u please clarify what to do after turning key 4 times Thanks

Either one click or 2 click will work. If not working repeat the procedure again.

Thank you David, this has been helpful. I did it a long time ago and I needed to refresh the "how to" cause my cylinder broke and I have to replace the whole part. I managed to also "code" the cylinder to my existing keys. Very appreciated your video.

Leave the remote alone the truck opens? Possible the remote problem.

If your key works..there is a tab inside in the middle of the tailgate..use a flathead screwdriver and take it off..youll see a latch..looks like a small little metal rod ..just push that to the side abd the tailgate will open . then you can change your battery

I have one key that was an AMIN KEY, MyKey was activated with that key so it became a MYKEY without ADMIN PRIVILEGES. Top speed 80mph, and radio volume that stays MUTED until seatbeats are clicked, and volume limit 14!! I bought 2 keys and the FORSCAN ELM327 OBD2 USB Adapter for WINDOWS!! Hoping to disable MYKEY!! NO LUCK AT DISABLING MYKEY! IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO LIMIT ANYONES SPEEDLIMIT and then CHARGE $300 PLUS, TO DISABLE THIS ON CARS!! HAS THERE BEEN ANY LAW SUITS FOR THIS CRAZY SETTING AND THE MANUFACTURERS?

There is an emergency hatch in the back of the trunk; if you pull down the back seats you can crawl there and use it. Lol you didn't have to do this :))) I just opened it a minute ago

My boot had a box in it when the battery died. Couldn't access the the little round plastic covef to flick the boot open.

Newer BMWs won't open with that fob key if you had previously locked the car with the remote key.

What worked for 2014 Focus SE: Doors closed, car unlocked. Put working key into ignition. Turn ignition on 8 times (you’ll see lights on the dash come on and off 8 times) then press lock on new remote, press lock on working remote, remove key from ignition and press lock again on new remote. Both remotes now working. Thank you.
