Unlock the door of 2006 -2009 Range Rover L322 with a dead battery. key won't work!

Remote won't work! key won't work! with a dead battery for 2006 Range Rover.
trying flip the handle inside of the door still not work! finally find the best way to unlock is removing the license plate light and touch with jump start cable, power up the vehicle, then use remote control to open door.

I'm not sure you can try. Also you have to have a remote control.
