Five ketamine shots didn't help me a bit. Doctor said if ketamine doesn't work, then Spravato isn't going to work either. If it does work for you - then I'm happy about that.

To you beautiful human, I wish you all the peace and happiness in life. Just wanted to share a practice that has significantly helped me in depression. Wanted to share this with you that maybe it just helps you out even one tiny bit. Please take a holistic approach (meting a counsellor, friends, loved ones, exercise, healthy diet , healthy sleep, taking it day by day), with all that you are already doing. Please try this breathing exercise meditation for a few minutes. Initially you can do this twice a day ,once comfortable you may increase however you feel like. Please try this persistently daily two sessions at least. The method is explained in the video below. Please do try out and have a wonder fulfilled life :) Sit in a comfortable and quiet place. Close your eyes. Each ingress or inhale inwards should carry the word 'Allah' to the core of heart and every egress or exhale outwards should bring the word 'Hoo' out to strike the heart. That would create a rhythm of Allah Hoo in every breath. You should however, not try to make these words with the sound of your breath, because the Zikr is not done with the breath but with heart. This spiritual practice should be done twice a day at least for 5 minutes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXqtnYhmoahojKM

Thank for this video & I’m so glad you had such great results with it. I’m considering doing this myself, I’ve tried so many other things with little to no result. I just want my life back, the last 3 years have been absolutely horrific & I’ve lost hope of ever getting better. I have no fun, enjoyment or sense of direction in my life anymore, everything I used to enjoy no longer matters to me… I’d be so grateful if this were to actually help me, I can’t believe I’ve even made it this far man. 😔

Spirvato is amazing. It helped me so much. I started like u twice a week then once now every other week. It has been a life changer for me. I've tried everything antidepressant on the market. Nothing worked. Weed all kinds nothing I can't drink makes me sick. But this stuff is the only thing that's worked for me. I love it ❤❤

Thanks for sharing your story. My doctor has recommended Spravato treatments .. I’m definitely curious and learning more about it. Curious to know now years later … how are you feeling ? Your treatment was Twice a week for four weeks then once a week for how long (5-8 weeks? ) Has your depression returned? Was there long term success?
@JesseWeigel2 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly, the treatment went on for somewhere around six months. The frequency decreased each month until it was only once a month. The depressions has never gotten as bad as it was before spravato. I still have some ups and downs, but they are not like before. My mood now seems to be much more closely related to my actual life circumstances instead of just being sad almost all of the time.

I just started my first session. I did not become nauseas or have a headache or hallucinate. I thought it was similar to taking nitrous oxide like from the dentist. The feeling was so similar that I Googled it and found out BOTH actually affect the Hippocampus in SIMILAR ways. Talk about being in tune, my association was spot on. I did not have an epiphany in the first session though and I see many people need at least 4 weeks. I just listened to music and watched KZbin videos in the dark. I even texted my wife to tell her I love her and shared a couple of videos I was watching. I believe many people who give up and claim it does not work decide too early based off of not being able to tolerate the 'high'. My depression is illness based: LUPUS, HEART DISEASE AND ATTACK, KIDNEY TRANSPLANT, STROKES, being on all sorts of MEDS..I am really hoping this works and will share more once I gain more experience

You can view localhost in the browser by putting "localhost:3000/" in your address bar. The "3000" part may be different for your particular project. It may say in your code editor exactly what port to type instead of 3000.

I have also learned that heat therapy in the form of sauna or even a hot bath can help depression symptoms. I now try to do cold therapy early in the day and a hot bath in the evening or sauna a few times per week. It also helps with muscle soreness.

Wishing you the best! My daughter is 23 and said she hasn't felt like living for years. My husband doesn't believe in depression and keeps telling her to just exercise, but she doesnt want to. She sleeps all dat but does go out with friends. Shes gained 80 pounds. She also dropped out of college. I want to try the nasel spray and then exercise and diet. She cried today and said she misses her old self. Idk what to do.thank you for your video!
@JesseWeigel3 ай бұрын
It is very difficult to start exercising if you are already depressed. Diet is a bit easier, especially if you have someone who can prepare good food for you. The esketamine may help lift the depression enough to start working out again. Since my treatment, I have been on a strict diet and have kept up with a regular exercise routine. It has helped a lot but would have been very difficult to do when my depression was at it's worst.
@janiemiller8253 ай бұрын
Be there for her.. Talk with her & allow her to express her feelings.. Just knowing someone genuinely cares & is there for you makes huge difference.. Offer to be supportive & helpful.. Offer to brainstorm any possible solutions with her.. Or Ask her what exactly about her old self does she miss? Ask her/ What would it take to get back to her old self etc Or ask… What about create a new self she desires

Thanks for the video. I finally understood currying using your videogame analogy. At first it wasn't clear why would I bother saving a half baked function to use later but working with the analogy, I realized that I can perform multiple evaluations of a function while keeping one variable constant. Kind of like a save point, I can start at a certain point and try do different actions from there.

Have you ever considered that life is not worth living?
@JesseWeigel6 ай бұрын
I have never allowed myself to seriously consider that. At times I have had moments where I thought the world would be better without me, but I know that wasn't correct. Life is most definitely worth living, even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment. Life is so unpredictable that it is worth sticking around just to see what happens next at the very least. I have found many other, and better, reasons to consider life worth living. When I was at my lowest, my children were my reason for living. It is important to find at least one reason for living and consider it constantly when things are bad.

Spravato does not work! Spravato just makes you high, that is all. It only works for the rest of the day after you take it, the next day, your back to where you were. Spravato will continue to grow however, because people love getting high.

When I can't sleep I take magnesium threonate, theanine, and chamomile tea and that usually works. If I am really anxious I take hydroxyzine, but you need a prescription for that in the US.

It is really disgusting that psychiatrists/mental health providers discount psilocybin, kratom, DMT and other alternative substances/compounds and go right straight to Ketamine for treatment. They did get it some what right with some ssris and snris. But the way they make money off patients is gross. I guess they found some dope consumer channels to buy ket for cheap so they can sell it to patients. I rather build up to it though.
