I loved hearing your story! Thanks so much for sharing! I am currently an undergrad, about to start my last year and so excited to graduate! I didn't get my Associates so this will be my first diploma since high school and it really means a lot to me! I also wanted to work with kids and thought about being a teacher. Then when I observed some teachers I started to reconsider and look for other fields that help kids more 1:1. I want to know what type of setting did you end up in. Do you still work with kids or adults?

You’re so much younger than and I find you inspiring. I’ll be 40 in a year and was thinking about a career in speech pathology. I feel like I’m stuck in a dead end job and will max out at 60k. My son is in high school right now and things are so expensive and I want to buy a house as well. I’m so overwhelmed and wonder if it’s worth pursuing this career.

Totally following ! Just finished my undergrad.. school didn’t let us know about hours until the summer before we graduated yay ! So where I’m at they only recognize hours either working (provisional license) or as a student .. but you can’t get a provisional without bein hired and they won’t hire without a license 😊 so that’s fun .. still looking hopefully get to start soon !

I am thinking about getting my BS in SLPA at a university. I'm gonna be honest I'm not very smart, I get good grades but like are the classes hard? I know I have to put in the work but I'm scared of failing the classes or not understanding the material or passing tests. How was your experience with your classes during your junior yr like the major CSD classes? Love your channel and videos !!

Hello! Love your video! I am willing to put in the work to be a SLPA! I am debating on the A.A program offered at my local community college or a B.S program. I am wondering is there a big pay difference? I know I will be saving thousands going to a community. But I also understand that the pay for a bachelors is obviously more, what do you think? I am interested in an associate degree that is offered in my local community college that also include getting your SLPA license. What is the main difference between getting a B.S or A.A in SLPA/communication studies? Is there a big pay difference?

From my understanding do you get paid about $50 an hr?! 😮 thats awesome makes me wanna be a slp more lol

As an slpa wont your salary go up eventually with raises? So a slpa could make up to as much as an SLP and itll be less school and less work load right?
