Try driving the other direction at that time and the traffic is even worse., one of the big reasons I left Seattle. But despite the weather, traffic and cost,of living, there’s a lot to love about the area.

This is not SR-520. It is I-90. I lived in Seattle for 26 years. I know a bit about these routes.

Lived in the Seattle area for 6 years from 2014 - 2020. Though I’m back in my home town of San Diego and enjoying the perpetual sunshine, from time to time I can’t help but miss the splendor and evergreen beauty of Seattle and its surrounding areas!

The I-90 bridge across Lake Washington is not a suspension bridge. It is a floating bridge. The Tacoma Narrows Bridge is a suspension bridge.

Great video! I just want to suggest an edit. When you exit hyperspace you’re still on the i90 bridge. The 520 bridge is further north of Bellevue and drops you off near the University of Washington campus. Other than that it was great!

in my opinion, as weird as people think i am for saying this, i never visited Seattle but for some odd reason out of every city in America i want to visit Seattle the most its some sort of pull and idk why, but in my opinion this is the most beautiful city in the united states.

I heard they took out the alaskan way viaduct did they ever do anything with the building and the old roadway. They had the ferry terminals down there and the one to Alaska . Have not seen anything about it

Thanks for the comment! That's a good point, I think I can try a few videos that edit those parts out, maybe as a separate series. For a lot of these clips I just upload it mostly straight out of the camera because it takes a long time to upload

A Bavarian themed town in the eastern Cascades! The drive reminded me of the mountain road to Berchtesgaden. The journey there is very beautiful and the entrance to Leavenworth is quite dramatic, indeed.
