Joe, how about supporting a Double Bass Array (Waveforming) subwoofer setup (4x4). So in other words, mimicking that which Trinnov is now well on their way to developing for their processors (which are well out-of-reach for most people). Not sure how that would fit in, as I have never before used MSO, despite implementing multi-sub setups for many years now.

I have high hopes for the less complicated or just easier MSO that Joe might be able to get done. Three cheers for that!

The best receiver. No complaints. My 7.2.4 setup is fantasic! ! Great 2-channel receiver. Gaming is on point. You'd have to spend 2-3 grand more to get a better receiver. Love the dirac!! I would definitely recommend.

These receivers are not even in the same league as the RZ50. RZ50 with Dirac all day long! You'd have to consider stepping up to the NAD or Rotel to find any noticable differences... Huge bang for the buck!

KEF Reference Meta's. Objectively the best measuring speakers(better than perlisten), virtually distortion free beyond reference levels with room pressuring bass and dynamics for days! If I'm paying that amount of money I wont accept ANY flaws in the measurements.

Fun take on the topic!!! The best sounding and looking speakers I’ve ever experienced in person were the Klipsch Palladium P-39F in zebra wood (2008ish). I thought the Klipschorn 60th anniversary editions came in as a close runner up by just a hair of “preference”, but the Palladiums were absolutely gorgeous in person. Cheers!

For me I would be looking at active speakers due to their advantages that can be done with DSP. Something like the Kii Three BXT, JBL M2, Danley HRE1. Or given some time, doing a DIY speaker by Scott Hinson and his Multi-Entry Horn the MEH.

I had a 5 .1.2 (2 front heights) setup for about a year. I recently installed Klipsch CDT-5800 C-II in-ceiling speakers. The MINUTE I installed those in-ceiling rears making a 5.1.4 system, I re-calibrated, ....it was a game changer! it is so dynamic! Two vs. four heights/in-ceiling, It DOES make a difference.

End game two channel high-end hifi or HT. Now 64, I've heard dozens of HT ans high end speakers. The two most most respected and well known high end brands are Focal and Wilson Audio. The Focal Grande Utopia and WA WAMM Chrosonic are simply jaw-dropping in looks and sound. Consolation speakers would be the new Sonus Faber Suprema system. All I need is to hit Lotto for $10M.

That I’ll actually buy? $7500/pair max, not rich enough for more. Maybe the Ascend Acoustic ELX.
