It seems like all the hype is over... Did this project fail? It's been one year since launch, and I haven't seen any reviews of Magic Beans yet? Also, one would expect paid software to be able to transfer the filters to the AVR on its own, just like the free OCA A1 EVO script does... And what about bass management? If you apply the PEQ filter to each channel independently, you'd never be able to get rid of room modes properly as A1 EVO does for free (for Denon/Marantz AVRs).

@@ebarbie5016 I'm happy with the sales. I'm just letting the word spread organically. Also, there are reviews online. It's obvious you haven't bothered to do a Google search for it. It's actually pretty simple to upload the corrections using MultEQ-X or Dirac, so I am also unsure what you're talking about. It is possible to hack the Audyssey Editor ADY file, but I've chosen not. There is someone who has created their own script that allows the use of MB with the Editor app, but it isn't a method that is actively supported by our team.

Does magic beans tells you how much you should be listening or sitting up or below the tweeter does it gives that data

It isn't designed specifically for that, but you can get an idea that you're too far off axis if you're noticing that the measurement from your listening position has a lot less treble than the nearfield measurement. Some roll-off is expected the further you are away.

can i use Magic Beans with dsp mini flex without giving up useing the advantages of my 1500$ hifi dac too
@joentell2 ай бұрын
That's an expensive DAC! MB works with the Flex. I'm using it right now in my living room. There are various versions of the Flex, but the one I have has options for digital or analog inputs, but only an analog output. It probably makes the most sense to use the DAC prior to the Flex. I have to be honest that I don't pay attention to Dac's that much. I think the sound difference that good EQ makes far surpasses any sound differences I could possibly hear when comparing DACs.
