Heya, as someone who owns the Wed.3 zero pro and a Schubert C5 there was something that stand out to me when comparing both so let me just give you a tip that made a big difference for me: In my experience, the top vents on the sides of the Wed3 are very noisy. I always ride with them closed. The top center one is fine though. I also have the X-Com Pro and it works quite well. I thought the mic placement would be an issue (it sits close to the forehead) but it actually isn't. Mine came with the dark visor and then I also got an iridum blue. Love both. Also, pricewise they are way cheaper and better than the options I have available for my Schuberth helmet. I love all the small extras included in the package. The only detail I think wasn't quite right is the camera mount in the front not having the nut that holds the screw in place. But it's really a minor thing. I hope you are enjoying it!

I d really appreciate if you could give me a measurement on your acerbis where the connect back to bar. At fulll lock left my bark busters just fit a sheet of paper in their between bottom right corner of screen. Looking for options to fix. My handle bar is on the most rearward of the 3 holes. over 1000 bucks for a helmet is ridiculous
@ADVBrett9 күн бұрын
I appreciate that and it's good to have a difference of opinion too. I have no problems paying over $1000 for a helmet and it's not just because of the statement "What price do you put on your head?" I've seen how the Nexx helmets have been developed and produced, they're hand made from products and materials local to the factory. Nexx is also a company that has listened to the feedback of their customers and have actively made changes to the new line of helmets which has also made a massive difference in quality and comfort. They've also focused on the safety features of their helmets using the X-Foam and Anti-vibration inner and outer EPS system. So these are just a few features that I'm really impressed with, no doubt other helmets have some similar features, I've been a wearer of high end adventure helmets by Shoei and Arai, they were great but they still didn't have features I was looking for like the inner sun visor. So yes, over $1000 is a high end helmet and there is certainly a number of other helmet manufacturers that do cheaper helmets. Where I draw the line is paying $2000 for a jacket, so I know where you're coming from when it comes to certain ADV items being over priced!

I’ve been riding with the original GT Air for some years now. It has quite some issues with: noise, whistling visor seal, visor locking/ slightly open position, and I reckon I need a new pinlock now.
