Hey, which one is better am8 or pd200x in usb mode for normal youtube videos when my mouth will be 4-6inches away from the mic and for some casual occasional singing? Which has better noise cancellation? And if i can EQ the sharpness of the pd200x to lower it? Why I'm confused? Am8 sounds flat and muddy at times, but pd200x has a very nasally voice and the highs are very sharp too at 4.30 in usb, which mode are u in? original or its edited?

Both have different sound profiles for sure and I think you’re right that FIFINE a little more muddy. However, I like the am8 profile more. I would go look at my review on the AM8. That entire video is recorded with it.

Dungeons of eternity heck yeah! Also, that mention about getting a virtual spectator camera in games for recording would be amazing. That sounds like a feature that would require a PC for most games, but maybe standalone supported for some and more in the future.

The 25% off referral link doesn't work anymore sadly. It's now only 15%off and it has to be your friend. Also another thing people forget on the Quest is that online is free no matter what game you play. While on consoles you have to still pay for online (unless it's free to play I think)

@@LuckyStrikeTech It does require some changes most would find unreasonable like daily mobility exercises and sleeping on a floor mat. I'll take all of the inconvenience tho b/c VR replaced a handful of meds after decades of them not working, literally overnight. Consult your doctor tho I'm a cat!

VR is great, and i believe its still the future of gaming and entertainment consumption as well. It just has a ways to go still. Headsets need to get much smaller and lighter before VR ever goes mainstream. I love my Q3 but it has its short comings. Resolution still needs to go higher as well as FOV and the battery life is abysmal. Its by far the most comfortable headset ive owned (after a couple hundred in 3rd party accessories) even so you still know your wearing a vr headset and because of that some days i just dont even wanna put it on. One day VR will be everything i dreamed of, i just hope im alive to see it.

I bought this microphone and for some reason I hear very low white noise, and I also hear white noise when I connect headphones for feedback. is this normal?

@@LuckyStrikeTech I don't have a noisy room, and it's possible to hear this white noise even with the microphone gain set to zero. I don't know if this is a problem with the microphone itself or possibly a power issue in my house that can generate this static sound

These are rebranded lmk67s, just like the Boyi gmk67 plastics. The plastic ones are 35 dollars and the aluminum ones are 50 directly from the manufacturer which is Zuoya. They are all over AE for half the price.

Theres a bit of misinfo here. Yes the polling rate can be usually anywhere from 1,000Hz up to 8,000Hz which is the highest polling rate on USB 2.0 (the version of USB for 99.99% of peripherals). I'm not 100% sure if USB 3 can go higher than 8k, some geekhack forums say 24k polling but im not sure, since no one else really talks about this. This is more of a USB thing as polling is defined from how often the the PC and the keyboard do 2 way handshakes for information, PC to kb asking for if the kb has info, kb to pc saying "here's what I got". Scan rate however is a different beast. if you plop the same MCU that gets 8,000Hz scanning on a full sized MECHANICAL keyboard, odds are you will only get a scan rate of probably 1,000Hz on a HALL EFFECT keyboard due to the sheer complexity of the inputs. Scan rate is the amount of times the MCU (the processor on the keyboard) SCANS the whole keyboard, all of the keys and their states. Most HE kbs only get 1k polling and 1k scan, but even boards like the K70 MAX by corsair fall victim to using a Mechanical KB AXON MCU meaning its polling rate will be 8k but its scan rate only 1k, therefore you do not reap the benefits of 8k (aka kind of a scam, KIND OF because it is 8k polling but only 1k scanning in performance which was never advertised). You only reap the benefits of 8k polling if the scan rate nearly matches or preferably matches or exceeds the USB polling rate. Lastly, firmware, software, component quality, PCBA latency, cable quality for signal integrity and adequate power delivery, and overall device latency are super important for the overall quality and latency and readings for them to be FAST and STABLE. Wooting is coming with their 80HE (Compact TKL, between TKL and exploded 75%), promised to have "TRUE 8K" meaning a custom MCU enabling 8k polling and 8k scanning, here's to hoping all the waiting pays off! HE kbs are not very power efficient and will drain much faster than traditional mechanicals IF WIRELESS. Hope this helps, there is a database by eyejoker, which has a bunch of peripherals on there but its in korean so for anyone who speaks english, make sure to change the language of the webpage. Please if I made a mistake, sorry, and correct it here in the replies, I would love to learn more.
