I love these ideas! It’s nice to see realistic landscaping at an affordable price! Not a multimillion dollar house with thousands of dollars in landscaping using heavy equipment! Thank you!

I kinda wish you had not skipped past the brick edging. First 1:30 was just talking. I would have wanted to see you line those bricks up. 🤷‍♀️ Oh well. And then you skipped the mulch too. 😔

Unfortunately, I did not record me adding the brick edging. However, I included the full video link for that 📪 project, which also shows me adding the mulch. Additionally, here’s another project where I use the exact same brick edging, and I actually show me putting the edging around that project. Hope that helps!kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2SyZZaErdmMfLcsi=bvrRotJfVSYP7urU kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnK1h2hsnsp3rJIsi=DmSg6xG5DMhrk58y

How did you plant the flowers? Inside of the mulch? Or you purchased soil as well?

The flower beds have soil. I know it looks like mulch, but it’s really topsoil.

How did you attach the first vertical frame pieces to the first horizonal board?(on your existing balcony rail) I don't see screws
@diysbycarolina8622
@diysbycarolina8622 Күн бұрын
The entire frame was screwed together. It was probably hard to tell because the screws were the same color as the boards before I painted the frame.

Could I use the card boards on top of grass and no seats will come out ? I’m wanting to put rocks on top of cars board boxes.
@diysbycarolina8622
@diysbycarolina8622 Күн бұрын
Absolutely! Just be mindful that cardboard will eventually decompose into the soil. This could take a while to happen, between six months to a year. So be prepared to update the space with fresh cardboard when it starts to break down. Hope this helps.

See, I ain't trying to dig this rock hard red georgia clay "soil". I lay cardboad months before. It's a great way to soften the area pre dig. Also, wait until the rain softens the soil. Thank you for showing that no dig disappointment. your channel is an inspiration

A question please. Why not just remove the plants the rabbits were eating? Won't they be right back at those plants when you remove the hampers over them? The rocks look good with the blue marbles.
@diysbycarolina8622
@diysbycarolina8622 3 күн бұрын
I love those plants and want to have them in my landscape. Removing them means limiting what I can do in my space and that does not work for me. Once the plants are established, I’ll remove the hampers for a more permanent solution.

So pretty. Wishing you success with the rabbit barrier. I've had rabbits, groundhogs, chipmunks and even ducks to live in some space or another in my front and back yard. They will reek havoc on your plants and flowers, even the bulbs in the ground!! PLUS birds lay their eggs in my hanging baskets! I told them if they don't pay the mortgage, they gots ta go!!

Hi Caroline everything looks great for the “river” you created Temu sells glowing stones that glows at night, some of them are super cheap, but I do recommend getting the package of 200 or more. I have them and they do glow but you can’t have any lights around them. Thought you may be interested in them.
