I had the honor of playing in this band many years ago. True legends, both Neil and Rusty.

I had the Bloodrock 2 8-track tape, and this song was the first song on the first track, and I listened to it over and over. Cheater was one of my favorite rockers. I have all the Bloodrock albums up to Whirlwind Tongues. The first album all the way up to USA really rocked.

Definitely one of the most talented underestimated musicians of all time. I saw him, belatedly, in the 1990's and 2000's on various occasions in the Dallas, Fort Worth area including the Elton John Union tour. Brilliant musician. UK Rocky

Concrete Proof that it's all in the fingers & your mind to play guitar well & it"s not in any the gear/rig much at all really

The fact that you waited until he starts the first solo to turn the camera towards the other players irks me soo bad! 😂 Why? Why would you do that?!

Roy was one of the truly quintessential. Almost philosophical true bluesmen that was a. Lesser known in the public but anyone who was a. Real. All time great. That Buchanan had a sense for the. Common chord. But musically he was right on the top shelf of landmark. Players. We all have come to know so well He was a trend setter. An innovator. And advocate for young pickers. All hats off before so great and. Sullen a man he was We must bear the burden of our respective crosses. But. As absolutely transcendent and majestic. His playing was a. Place high upon the rising winds with the spirit birds. And that Segway to a panoramic opening up to the horizon of the plains and. Mountain. . Where it and the sky meets Roy is one for the history books

Call me morbidly obese. He's going to drop dead on stage soon. No this is 2009 .. I wonder if he is still alive. He is alive still a young man 49 years old and legally probably due to unchecked diabetes. It's really too bad he is a great guitar player.
