Well, im from a third world country you may say, and im currently doing o and a levels. I knew nothing about college(youtube educated me kind of). I got like none extracurriculars till now. I found out that extracurriclars are important, so i looked into the options i had: Being a head boy at school(Which is nearly impossible as im not that popular kind of student yk + i cant do public speaking well) Head of community service club(which is doable) Independent research maybe?(I got no support in that except internet and youtube) Thats all i can do. We got like literally 0 science fairs or an other thing, idk wht im gonna do, plz give suggestions

i got suspended because i skipped class and i think it will be included in my record. I'm incoming freshman but the university I'm applying to is one of the qualification is APPLICANT MUST BE OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER. will i be disqualified? what should i do? that's the only university i considered

I recommend you check with your school counselor if it will be included to the admissions offices. If so, then you can explain your situation in the additional comments section. Good luck!

@@CollegeCareerChamp hello, I asked earlier but they said it was included (they will give us a good moral certificate in my previous school but the disciplinary record will be mentioned) one of the requirements in the university is that certificate. I'm worried that I might be disqualified. what should I do?

Hi, as a Fall 2023 transfer applicant waitlisted by UCLA, the admission portal states clearly that no additional materials, including letters of recommendation, will be considered. Can I still send a Letter of Continued Interest (LOCI) via email to the admission officer, or should I include it only in the waitlist opt-in additional essay? I had a question does Dance (kuchipudi) count as an extracurricular activity I do have a certificate from ICMDA and Karate national’s certificate and also black belt certification do all of this count as extracurricular activities¿¿ I have learnt dance for 6years and still counting and karate for 11 years and still counting

I'm so glad to hear that! Yes, you can find the UC Berkeley Admissions officer by going to the school website very similar to UCLA. Do you have any advice when it comes to being on the waitlist at UCSD? From what I’ve heard they’ve waitlisted a ton of students applying primarily for biology (human bio and etc) I too fall under this category. I’m not sure if they allow loci as it doesn’t seem to deny or accept the invitation of sending such documents to admissions. Finally, over the past year the acceptance of getting off the waitlist seems to be as low as it’s ever been, do you have any tips? Thank you for your help!

If UCSD doesn't explicitly say NOT to send a LOCI, I recommend you send one. You can find an admissions officer by going to the UCSD website and looking for the admissions team email. Well I got recommendation letter before 3 days in MEng Mechanical engineering I really didn't expected that because I got like 4 rejections so I was just thinking that this University will also reject me but my luck said yes and I got recommendation letter from Department of Mechanical and soon letter will be given
