Two things: 1. I really liked the vibe of the music in this one. 2. If you're interested in trackers and don't want to mess with the power and price of Renoise, Biset tracker in VCV Rack/Cardinal is a lot of fun.

I must confess the first album I bought was Sing Song by The Goodies (English comedy show) which would've been around 1973 but Santa gave me the single of Mouldy Old Dough by Lieutenant Pigeon in '72. Fairly soon after that I got into Status Quo but I was already picking up on things like Vangelis used in TV shows. As I got a little older I got into electronic music, prog, classical and various random things. I don't worry about genres much, just if I enjoy something.

Just catching you with todays events. Picked up a Blofeld KB used earlier in the year as didn't have a keybed about and kinda missed it. Great for ambient pads especially with the HG Fortune sample set, i think its a keeper.

Not used my Blofeld in a while. Fantastic all-rounder synth. Load it with a few drum samples and you've got a synth that can do a whole track without having to multitrack the audio.

Hey this is dope> I havent used it yet because I was thinking of adding it to a template however the part of you saying you would have to know the key you are playing in makes it kinda hard because sometimes i have no clue. i use ripchord a lot and it just spits out the midi for me but idk what key that stuff is in...i usually transpose manually in my template just to play the black keys

@synthseeker4 күн бұрын
Hi thanks. Two things: 1) you should learn to use session view because it’s very powerful. 2) in arrangement view if you double click on a midi clip it will open up the editor just like in session view. 😊

I must be missing something. In the device section of Drift, I have all the same settings and oscillators, but the wave shape next to the noise section is inverted. Is there a polarity section I'm not seeing? I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour!
@synthseeker5 күн бұрын
I’m not sure? Share a video or link to a screenshot showing your situation?
@davidknight7545 күн бұрын
My almost daily jellybean question. How would you use the jellybean function with just the Push 3 in standalone? Adding the midi effect that changes scale degrees is added individually to each track with no way I can see to adjust all of the tracks at once. You would have to go to each track and manually adjust the scale degree for each. I'm assuming the only way might be to customize the user setup/mode of push 3 and switch to it when you want to do that but I haven't seen what that can do just yet.
@synthseeker5 күн бұрын
Check the “performance pack” by Iftah and read the section on macros and /or performance snapshots. I’m not sure if it will work with standalone.

Thanks for these videos and chats, I feel like I am not alone in making the distinction between arrangers (people who use samples of musicians playing instruments) and musicians/composers who create/write music with instruments. I have just started on my synth journey with some Behringer gear to see what I like doing before making any major investment, circuit tracks and an Arturia keystep pro to have a jam with.

@thenorthproject84655 күн бұрын
@@synthseeker thank you, yes the trains were a thing I got into through a friend, he has a channel called New Junction, we did a lot of shows, a good portion of his videos from 2018/19 used my footage, which I enjoyed filming, but a messy split from my sons mum meant I lost it all, but I have always played music really. I had some trouble playing after I got carpel tunnel and compartment syndrom in both my arms, being a drummer, that was difficult, tried guitar, but struggling to play the 80's rock guitar I like, but my other 80's genre, which I love is Synth pop, which doesn't hurt to play so much, so here I go, I will send you a link when I do my first Jam.
