We use a snappy snare to catch loose feral syndrome dogs that you cant get close enough without one. I have yet to use a pole on a catch. Only an injured dog but it's shorter. You gotta slow down. You ran him back to his yard you're gonna get bit. You're lucky the other was tethered 😂😂😂 I just pulled two aggressives PBtype teathered to a fence on 6ft leashes I had to climb through a vine ridden fence to cut the links and hope my slip stayed on. I took the short legged female first easy to keep away from , they were cold hungry and pissed off, He just wanted to be with her in my van. Took me almost 45 mins. I did it with no pole and cat food.. Its about territory and respect 🙏. Be kind to them they're afraid. Mean dogs don't really bark. Take your time be patient. I'm dog a catcher to. Best job I've ever had. Been with my city 27😮.

I just installed mine on my 2020 Passport. They look great but so far my only complaint is slight noise when the two armrests rub together. My first thought was to lubricate them a bit with an interior dressing, but that didn’t work. Little noises and creeks bother me more than some people, but overall I like the product.

Did the wrench come with them so you are able to remove the OEM ones? Or do I need to also get something like that to do this?

I wouldn't want anything to do with a scared dog honestly. They have a big chance of biting me or someone / my other animals. Plus the DNA of the dog comes into play and that just adds to the problem. I hope a well mannered family takes it in.

So much hard work go into temperament-testing dogs! Unfortunately some dog breeds are just naturally non-trusting and fearful, which breeds aggression. I can never have these kinds of dogs. Mine has to be friendly by nature.

Got these installed on my '23 Passport Elite today. Very easy with the pickle bar. I did put a little white lithium grease on the pivot of the new ones so they function smoothly. Thanks for the vid!
