Many years ago, I had the same thing with a taxi. The driver was a young man. I was tough with him, showing the recording I had. He was speechless. He was embarrassed and apologized. He thanked me profusely and apologized again, and he regretted his mistake. You were being too kind to this man, who calculated and gambled that you wouldn't make a fuss. If you had refused, nothing he could have done. Don't be afraid to be tough with dishonest people. 12:00 Get a high-performance noise-cancelling headset (Bose or Sony). 14:11 a tourist trap.

calling it a tourist trap is a bit of a stretch since they are the technically the best place in town for cha ca (but also the most pricey with the whole french villa thing).

I think I went on April 23rd/24th last year. The exact dates of blooming will be different every year but I think April 16th seems like a great time to go!

I was in hanoi for a week but there were 3 or 4 days I was mostly working cuz I had a remote job:) My favourite restaurants are hong hoai’s restaurant and MẸT Vietnamese restaurant! I don’t have a link for the tour cuz I just booked it with my hotel sorry:’) But I’m pretty sure it’s similar to some other tours available online cuz some of the people who joined my tour booked it online. :)
