Many years ago, I had the same thing with a taxi. The driver was a young man. I was tough with him, showing the recording I had. He was speechless. He was embarrassed and apologized. After paying, I gave him a tip equal to the extra amount he asked, (it was so cheap anyway). I told him that I would normally be generous, but nobody liked untrustworthy people. He thanked me profusely and apologized again, and he regretted his mistake. You were being too kind to this man, who calculated and gambled that you wouldn't make a fuss. If you had refused, nothing he could have done. Don't be afraid to be tough with dishonest people. 12:00 Get a high-performance noise-cancelling headset (Bose or Sony). 14:11 a tourist trap.
