I loved listening to Dr. Elyn & Dr. Gary - what DELIGHTFUL people and BEAUTIFUL couple! Thank you for having them on. Like Dr. Gary White said 'he's 87 yrs. old so what does he got to lose?!' It's probably time for Dr. Elyn's conversations with Plotinus to come out to assist humanity especially now! I'm sure her communications with Plotinus will educate their scholar friends! O yes! lol Thank you again! I enjoyed your questions to them, Stephen! I'm going to look at their website!!!! Take great care!

This was fascinating to listen to. I was SO pleased to hear Dr. Terri Daniel say that if someone who is dying and has a lot of anxiety/fear that they will go to hell, she tells them that it is not true. Good for her! Assisting the dying out of their fear is crucial I feel. Let them go in peace! I think those organizations that say 'don't tell them any of your own beliefs even for comfort' is erroneous! Hopefully they update and re-evaluate their rules for the hospice and/or death dulas. Thank you again for this interview - it was wonderful and Dr. Daniel is SO natural, interesting and real - no B.S.!!!

Thank you SO much Stephen and Terri. We have had much secondary pain with our family's reaction to our son's signs he works so hard to send us. So for us, the family dynamics have added so much additional suffering to our grief journey. This was so needed.

"We're all swimming in the same sea of consciousness." That's the most meaningful way I've heard of describing the collective consciousness. It resonated with me more than any other ways of describing it. Thanks for that image! 🙂

Loved getting to know Dr Terri. So reassuring to the one passing away. Wonderful! Trusting Gary & the Hurricane didn't meet. Stephen's TED Talk is terrific. Such an important & relatable topic,Thankyou. Rupert Sheldrake, excellent! In Australia(Queensland) Bill Edgar gets paid by the dying person to go gatecrash the funeral. I think he did a Ted talk as well(Coffin Confessor). The dying person's inability to express their frustrations/concerns/grievances,whilst alive, gets expressed by Bill Edgar at the funeral equipped with the deceased person's instructions. Not quite the 'afterlife' but still relevant to the BS that happens along the way.

I'm a year late in listening to your film, which I paid $100 for, and in seeing this, and I did NOT know that Irene is your Mom. I adored her when I saw the film. I kept wondering if those interviewed were actors or real, too. And I was amazed how the Psychiatrist was suspicious of Irene to the point of asking if she hit her head. lol. And yes, I'm sure that's how they are trained. Just seeing "prolonged grief disorder" in the latest DSM -- and considered a "mental illness" by Psychiatrists and Psychologists after 12 months, says a lot about their terrible training. which implies someone is "mentally ill" for the way they do grief says a lot. But I'm very impressed with the film and what it can offer to others about continuing a relationship. There are several of us, including myself, that know this reality to be true.

And I want to add that the evidence is clear by the large amount of reported NDE's that our consciousness continues after the death of our bodies. So "afterdeath" communication has been proven to me to be very real...and I have a very real, continued relationship with my husband who left this physical earth and is on the other side. I also lead a private Zoom group for others who have been maintaining a relationship to our soulmates as well.

I have to admit thinking about connecting with our loved ones can often pull me into a more esoteric mindset. But after listening to Pam and Alan's way of communicating, I realize it's just us talking with our most precious people. It's a comfort knowing their characteristics, their very special charms and phrases remain with them. But most importantly, knowing we can easily reach out and talk with them provides me with an emotional strength. This was an engaging Q&A and I really benefited from listening to the questions and answers from others! 💚💚💚 Thank you Stephen and Gary ... and thank you Pam and Alan for showing us the end of a physical life doesn't mean the end of a relationship!

Yes I do ask, daily, and not one of the three "ghosts" I've begged to appear to me has done so. I'm autistic, and believe that it's my wiring that prevents me from apprehending anything that may be out there. It's thrust me firmly back into sad scepticism.

Suppose they don't want to be bothered. My partner and I had a complicated relationship. I'm on the spectrum; he *was* my executive function, and my neediness could rankle him. Maybe he simply is free....from tinnitus, financial instability, addiction, and my bs. Sad, but could be true. It's been a year, and nothing, though I cry for him daily and am doing so now. As an autistic woman, I suspect my wiring makes any contact impossible if in fact they still exist in any way.

This has been and is an amazing journey! My husband passed 6 years ago and I searched other groups as I knew in my heart he was not gone Then I found Pam and Alan and my world changed I have my husband right here and now. I feel him with me, we can communicate, I feel his touch, I hear him, I see him. This is a wonderful journey he and I can now have together. The bonus is that I have learned how to let go of limiting beliefs and regrets. We never stop learning but we can do this together. The bonus is to learn to love ourselves, to find our best selves. Pam and Alan are wonderful and dedicated and the group support is invaluable. So happy my husband led me here.

Unfortunately, we generally do not value what we take for granted. Thus, we have to lose something to realize how valuable it is. That's why we incarnate in the first place, to experience loss and grow from that. Just being born is a loss of the comfort of the womb, for example. Life is full of losses that must be grieved. We have to believe that they are gone before we will actually value their presence in our lives. That's why the veil exists. It's a teaching device. It's to teach us how valuable love and intimacy really is, and for us to value our relationships more. We grow through grieving our losses, which is why being here on Earth is a school. It's all a teaching device, since there isn't really loss in the afterlife. The afterlife is like being in the womb, everything is provided for us, thus we don't really experience loss there and growth is slower. Continuing the relationship is certainly a chance to work out unhealed old wounds with our loved one, but it may limit our learning because we don't move on to a new relationship. Relationships here on Earth are also teaching devices for us. We have relationships not just for companionship, but also to grow. So, continuing a relationship with an old love may not be in our best interest for growth. We grow through tragedy, and grieving the losses from that. But, what Pam is doing is also a teaching device, showing us for a fact that we survive death and life goes on, which is of course valuable. Congrats to her for doing this, but it isn't for everyone.

Just FYI, but none of my deceased relatives are with their spouses. My grandfather went and found his wife of some 40 years, but he said she barely remembered him. My dad isn't with my mom either. My other grandmother doesn't seem to have a man at all. But, I have heard of couples staying together, and Pam's experience is not unique. There are at least two other books out there telling the same story, which is that one spouse dies but the relationship is maintained. It all depends on interest, compatibility, and other things I suppose, just like any relationship here in the physical world.
