There were some really entertaining parts of this video. I hope to be making some handkercheifs soon and I really liked what you did with the plain white one you made and how you made the decorative holes.

You look gorgeous! Just starting out on my first shift. But this will be my next project, already ordered the fabric! Excited. ❤

You really show why giving fabric time to hang makes such a difference. Gorgeous!

Beautiful, you did a great job. I looked for the pattern and kit (May 2024) and neither one is available, unfortunately.

very good song the images are like stepping back in time. the dresses remind me of stairs in my home town that were sized for the gait of women wearing hobble skirts.

Does anyone know of any tips to make short stays for smaller busts? 😊

The gussets are the easiest place to adjust for bust size, my suggestion would be to start there. You could try making them smaller, doing one gusset instead of two, or leaving it out altogether, depending on what you need for your fit 😁

Thank you so much for this! I bought this pattern and was having a meltdown trying to just follow the printed instructions. I need more visual instruction and this got me through the whole pattern with ease. Definitely going to make more now. Also love the holo taco!

I am finding that the way you explain your sewing builds up my confidence in projects I have been too afraid to even consider because fear that I am going to make it wrong or something. Love your channel!

I loved your video, it has definitely given me more confidence in trying to make one for myself. I always wanted to make one, but I kept chickening out because I felt like I am just going to waste perfectly good fabric. No! I am going to learn! I too will make a structural garment and feel proud of my work darn it!

I guess I will start sewing hankies now. My dad always used them. I used to iron and fold them for him. I’m tired of buying Kleenex so often. Not eco-friendly.

Gorgeous! I started my first pair recently but then my body decided to gain weight so between my mock up and my final project, my girls are too large now! I have no idea what to do to change the cups but oh dear... It's a mess

I love Ever After! And only by watching this did I remember the old cotton chemise stuffed in my jammie drawer. It has gotten pretty thin, and I would love to recreate it somehow.

You are the first person I've seen to pin, tack then sew. Mum was taught at school (1950s) to ALWAYS pin, then tack, and finally to sew and she passed it on to me. Takes slightly longer but you can try the garment on after you've tacked it together to check the fit, not something you can do with pinning alone, so in the long run it saves time.
