I dont know if anyone "deserves" a raise but this all sounds bad for the workers and im not buying vallejo until it is resolves equitably. I have something like 100-150 vallejo paints and i guess thats where it stops

A comment! And one for more than just the algorythm. Regarding the Jizzy dudes/ Domaru comparison. Jizamurai dodge on 16s vs the Domaru on 14s (and dodge further). So they have that going for them. And combat instinct. And mimetism also. I havent the table experience yet, but it seems that 2vita is just a massive boost over 1vita. So time will tell i guess. I notice that in the new JSA essentials box the other half of the Ryoken team/option (missile guy) is absent. That seems unfortunate. I know as a pair they are a reference to something anime/manga, but i havent a clue to what.

I prefer lacquer paint but i often buy vallejo paints, im happy that the workers got success and i hope that it will bring optimism for the company and the industry in general. A change in prince is not that much of a problem as long as it is on the line with quality and respect of the workers.

what will happen short term is, price will be passed to consumer via shrinkflation and then increases, maybe cut in qulity. long term, firings of expensive staff single parents etc and replace with automation.

i live in america and it could impact me here if it vanishes. the biggest loss for me is their game color line matches old 2008 era citadel paint range and thus matches my older army paint schemes. like bloody red matches old blood red that i used during 5th edition for blood angels. the silvers match the old silvers i used when i started necrons in 2009. seems i will be stocking up at my local hobbytown usa "yes thats an actual store name lol" before those prices spike on me. now if vallejo opens a manufacturing plant here in the united states, that would be amazing. would make the paints safe from a major price hike and tariffs.

Can you paint realistic flesh tones with the Malefic and Fairy sets or are they strictly fantasy? Btw, your video was a great summary of Vallejo products. I too hope the workers have better conditions.

Thank you for sharing and the content. Does the Vallejo Airbrush Thinner also contain Vallejo Retarder? I typically combine Thinner w/Retarder and w/FlowImprover (all three). Perhaps I am doubling up on the Retarder?

With the recent increase in price that came with the new Warpaint Fanatic range from Army Painter, Vallejo are the cheapest paints in the hobby market (at least here in Spain) And that didn't compromised the quality one bit (I'd say that they are even better now with the renewal of their range) A bit of a price increase due to the results of the strike and the new and better conditions for the workers shouldn't be a problem. We'll see what happens though. Great video by the way 😊

i would add flow improver and varnishes to that list, if they rise the price i switch to ak interactive. vallejo is for me just a substitut for things that are missing in the pro acryl line

The bare metal shoulders pads actually look pretty sweet with the rest of the model painted. Also I love priming multiple colors. I usually do a black primer all over but mainly focusing on the shadows. Then a light coat of either a white for cold paint jobs or tan for warmer ones leaving a little black in the shadows. Then my shadow color from below and my light color from above. This also works fantastic transparent paints like contrast/speed/etc.

Au Japon en dehors de la Citadel, il y'a toujours les gammes de peintures acryliques pour artiste comme les Lefranc-bougeois et compagnie, sinon en Asie ils ont du Mr Hobby dont la peinture Mr Color est dans une version mi acrylique mi huile qui semble très intéressante car elle combine les propriétés des deux peintures, on peut ainsi faire des fondus dans le frais plus facilement mais l'inconvénient c'est qu'on ne voit le final que quand c'est sec car la version mouillé donne une très mauvaise idée de ce que ça va donner, la chaîne Mamam-Painting a fait de nombreux tutos de peinture en style BD avec cette peinture. Après il y'a la Tamiya mais je trouve qu'elle fait mal à la tête. Je ne recommande pas les peintures de gamme "Gunplat" car en général elles ont du polyuréthane et ça la rend trop pâteuse pour des figurines de 35mm.

You are aware that the cost of all the changes demanded by the workers will be passed on to the customer, Vallejo or their investors will not feel any negative affects from the strike in the long run.

Private equity - they load up the business with debt in order to buy it, then claim efficiency must be improved to pay the interest on that debt. It's a plague on business and genuine investment, not to mention the driver of these appalling working conditions.

It's shocking that a company making such excellent products would be so draconian with its staff. Aren't they making big profits? Why would you screw that up? Short-sighted management for sure.

Private Equity, well guess I'll continue my switch over to AK. Because Lets be honest, most people have no problem building models of the military force that CAUSED the holocaust, but a book about using modeling to discuss the very thing all those RLM colors we buy were created to perpetuate is much less embarrassing than a company being Vivisected for cash by a PE firm who can't even obey labor rules.
