This is so left field but Tyler looked like a a Prentiss/Morgan love child. Out of contrxt, the beginning of this scene looks like parents dropping off their kid.

This scene shows why the foster care system sucks and needs serious work.

I can understand how those pictures were eating at Tyler. Having to look at them everyday, looking at pictures of smiling idealistic families all the while having to deal with a padlocked refrigerator and rules and locks that tell him that he is somehow 'not normal', that he is 'less than' the other kids who do have families, like he is some sort of animal or a criminal. And then seeing those pictures, those smiles of those seemingly holier than thou kids in those pictures mocking him. I would've done the same thing in his position. I've wondered if those pictures were of sucessful adoptions, or merely the stock photos that came with those frames. Either way, the images were painful to Tyler.

Foster care sometimes makes things worse , foster parents need to be seriously vetted and checked on weekly , kids in foster care shouldn't just be dropped off and abandoned.

Being a foster mom myself I can´t understand, how any (foster) parent can treat a kid badly. Sad thing about this is, that it is not unrealistic at all. The episodes involving kids are at the same time the best (because they go really deep) and the most disturbing to me.

I always realized the softness on Morgan meaning because he is abused by his own family. I would’ve done the exact same thing to others who are abused or hurt at home. That boy had a great scene in this series. I would’ve cried even more when things happen in my entire life then his.

He wasn’t abused by his family. They all loved him. He was abused by Carl Buford.

You knowingly, deliberately and intentionally abuse/harm a child in any way, shape or form or kill them, you die. That’s how it should be. Change my mind.

This scene is one of the most beautiful scenes. Certainly in criminal minds. I can’t help but turn up when I see this. The fact that agent knows what it means to go through horrifying abuse. And it shows the kid love. Safe love. So beautiful makes me tear up every time.

it's ironic, the music. it talks about a house build by one for another where they should feel at home, because it's built with love for them the episode however, is about foster kids being raised in horrible conditions
