I spent 13 years in foster care. This scene hits true for me in so many ways. My foster mom hated me and me foster brother, we could get locked in closets, physically restrained or hurt. Childrens services didnt believe us. Our foster sisters said everything was perfect. Because they never had to deal with what we did.

I bet the producers and everyone in the show who watched this scene shredded a tear or felt sad. Especially as they were filming it. I know that boy and Shemar had a great bond before filming that scene. I would've cried if I had to do that scene myself. That boy needed that hug and I know that Morgan made sure that boy got a good place to stay. And he made sure of that and every kid living in that house got a good place to stay.

This legit made me cry. The whole episode, he was so stoic. Then Morgan said he would finally leave, and he finally let his pain show. Even the unsubs were worth sympathizing with. What they did was wrong, but ultimately because they were hurt so much, so many times.

That was one thing I always liked about this show; its focus on Knott how the crime was committed, but why. it's a question we all ask ourselves and each other; what kind of person would do something so awful, and what may drive them to do it? And occasionally, this episode included for me anyway, you sort of understand the Unsubs and even feel some degree of empathy/sympathy towards them.
