I really want this bike. But i am never ever gonna pay that much money for a bike. It is a great idea, but i have never seen one, on the streets in Denmark. Maybe the price explains why.

Have you thought about a foot pedal only option ? Could you tell me th pivot poin angle , seems a nice balance of stability and maneuverability.

So if you need to brake properly, you have to take your hands off and reach down to the rear brake levers beside the seat? Looks like a good bike to go slow on. You could at least get a big load between the rear wheels, so a good everyday commuter/ shopping buggy.

I'm comparing this bike to a similar idea called the "Twicycle". I like the variability of the crank arms on Varibike, but Twicycle has 2 wheel drive. I do a lot of cycling, and the city I live in is somewhat hilly. I haven't yet tried either of these bikes, but would like to try both at some point. Has anyone here tried both or either of these bikes? How do they handle going up and down steep hills, or if you hit a patch of rough pavement?

I like the versatility of this bike, and put it on my list of things to try first hand. At first glance, the handle bars look too narrow, so I question how it will handle over bumpy roads, or going downhill at high speeds. However, the only way to find out for sure is to actually try it.

Well if you are out for exercise then this is one way of riding.
