I think chicken tikka masala may have replaced fish and chips as the national dish. It’s a British riff on Indian food but so delicious. And I’m glad you got the Big Ben thing correct. It’s not likely that you’ll see it but if you wait a while you will certainly hear it.
@TristanMartinn5 күн бұрын

Camden is home to the Roundhouse music venue and, British bands aside, that was where, in 1976, so many U.S. bands made their British - or even European - debut. The Ramones, Flaming Groovies, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Blondie et al...all in the space of a few months. So glad I was there.

@@TristanMartinn , Trafalgar Square is to celebrate the sea battle of the UK over france AND spain , sadly Lord Nelson ( the hero man on top of the column and is to this day is celebrated by the Royal Navy because the victory categorically made the UK master of the sea , strangely missed most of the times by tourists despite the column being so huge ) . The British museum was behind you.

Liverpool has the oldest Chinatown in Britain, the Chinese arrived at our port in the early 1800s and stayed. However, London's Chinatown is far more lively.
