Good advice for extra crunch! Dip in water and flower it again 😊 First i could not hear how long, but by playback i got it. 20 to 25 minutes.

Beti, adding Fenugreek/methi in Garam masaalaa/GM is not heard off. Is this Bonglaa style⁉️I like Fenugreek/methi. I will make a very small batch of GM to try out & c. Keep up ur wonderful effort of posting Traditional Veg recipes. God bless ur family & u🪷☀️

@@PabsKitchen Pabs, thx for clarifying info. I will make a small batch of ur GM recipe👍🏼😊 As I stated earlier, I m very fond of Fenugreek. Daily around 5p I soak 6Fenugreek seeds in tbsp water & 1st thing next morning on empty stomach, I thoroughly chew it to paste & swallow. I m fond of Nepalese Veg food, so will cook Veg recipes that Don't use egg. Thx, God bless u🪷☀️

@@priyaannc Betu, thx for asking. Soaked Fenugreek/मेथी & its water helps me a lot. At my age, it helps with the following: Inflammation, Memory, Skin, Digestion, Metabolism, keeps LDL in range, Controls Blood Glucose, helps with my Bone & Musscle Pain. Research says it has anticarcinogenic potency. B t.w, I also take Turmeric water on & off, I Don't take Turmeric in milk, just water. You need to steralize the jar first in boiling water and then top up with olive oil so it covers paste and then put in fridge but other that i loke the 2.5 month fermentation process

These are so good. My Nepali husband requested fried hard boiled eggs today but he didnt know how to make them. I found this recipe and just made them a few minutes ago. I used mustard oil and added a pinch of msg. I will definitely be making these again.

This recipe did not turn out well for me. I have tried others like this, and they turned out the same - watery lentils with inadequate flavour added at the end. I'm either doing something wrong or the method is flawed. Any comments appreciated.

Sorry to hear that it didn't go well for you. Look sometimes the beans you are cooking can be old so it doesn't cook as required time and also you will find unpleasant flavours. If not then try to cook beans more time than the recipe said adjusting the heat of your stove. Or cook in pressure

First i thought it was soup. I eat lots of soup, once made easy to graph a cup out of the fridge. At the end of the subtitles written to eat with rice or rot tie 😅 off course looks delicious again. Only i don't have that fancy beam smasher like you. I can do it with a cleaned bottle,

Thank you! Indeed is Dal soup. The only difference is that in our culture we eat it with Rice or Roti. Of course you can eat it as a soup It's very delicious and nutritious. That beam masher I bought from a local Chinese shop, was very inexpensive.
