These are so helpful, but a question! At the start of each row, do you still have to chain each time and skip the same amount of loops? EG chain one, skip the first 2 and continue on for the half double crochet for each line? Thank you :)

How are you supposed to keep track of the amount of chains if it’s a big piece?! That’s where I keep messing up

You need to explain Crocheting A single crochet more clearly, I'm taking a break right now And when I tried doing the single crochet after making a chain of 11 it got really confusing. I want to ask my grandma to teach me but she lives far away so she can't just drive over here when I ask her, she knows how to crochet and I want her to teach me. So I can ask her if I'm doing it right or not.
